To support a strategic Data Platform transformation for one of our clients in the luxury sector, we are looking for a Data Platform Manager to lead the stabilization, industrialization and continuous improvement of an enterprise Cloud Data Platform.\nIn this role, you will coordinate Data Engineering activities, strengthen Run reliability, implement ITIL practices, optimize the managed services model, and support the evolution of the platform towards a scalable, service-oriented and business-focused operating model. You will work closely with Data Engineers, Integration teams, BI teams, IT management, Finance, Procurement and external providers to ensure reliable delivery, clear governance and measurable value creation.\nYour key areas of responsibility as Data Platform Manager Consultant:\nCoordinate and animate Data Engineering activities, including backlog prioritization, delivery rituals, dependency management, risks and decision preparation.\n\nDrive the industrialization of the Cloud Data Platform through reusable delivery standards, quality gates, documentation rules, release practices and operational readiness criteria.\n\nSupport the implementation of ITIL practices for incident, request, change, problem, knowledge and service level management.\n\nImprove Run reliability and service performance, with a focus on platform availability, delivery predictability and incident reduction.\n\nOptimize the managed services model, including supplier governance, SLA/KPI tracking, service reviews and continuous improvement actions.\n\nCoordinate end-to-end delivery with Integration and BI teams, from source connectivity to business data consumption.\n\nContribute to the definition and adoption of a Data Platform service and product catalog.\n\nImplement budget monitoring and consumption projection for cloud services, Databricks workloads, data ingestion, orchestration, managed services and support effort.\n\nIdentify cost optimization opportunities and prepare decision inputs for steering committees.\n\nContribute to a three-year technology and service transformation roadmap, including automation, observability, DataOps, FinOps and service maturity.\n\nSupport knowledge transfer and skills development for client teams through coaching, workshops, runbooks, documentation and hands-on enablement.\n\nAs an ideal candidate you have:\nStrong experience managing enterprise data platforms and leading or coordinating Data Engineering teams.\n\nSolid understanding of Cloud Data Platform operating models, DataOps practices and production support requirements.\n\nGood knowledge of Azure cloud services, including security principles, identity, networking, monitoring and cost awareness.\n\nHands-on understanding of Databricks, including jobs, notebooks, orchestration, Delta patterns, performance and production support practices.\n\nStrong understanding of dbt transformation workflows, data modelling standards, testing, documentation and DataOps practices.\n\nExperience with Fivetran or managed ingestion tools, including connector lifecycle, monitoring, data freshness and error handling.\n\nExperience with Control-M or enterprise scheduling tools, including batch orchestration, dependency management and production monitoring.\n\nProven experience with ITIL practices, managed services governance, supplier management, SLA/KPI reporting and continuous improvement.\n\nAbility to structure budget follow-up, cloud consumption analysis, forecasting, variance explanation and cost optimization actions.\n\nStrong stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate with engineering teams, IT leadership, business stakeholders and external providers.\n\nFluency in English and French.\n\nWhat we offer you:\nA community of experts - as Digital Natives, we put innovation at the heart of our expertise.\n\nWe may work with tomorrow’s technology, but at our core we are a people-oriented organization.\n\nHybrid ways of working with access to our modern & collaborative office in Geneva.\n\nAn open and inclusive culture, that enables us to reach our full potential.\n\nRead more about the benefits we offer here.\n\nAbout Orange Business:\nOrange Business is the Orange Group entity dedicated to businesses and organizations.
