Through a unique combination of know-how and expertise, our teams provide a broad range of IT & Business Solutions.\nCome closer to #LifeAtOrange!\nWhat we’re looking for\nWe are looking to expand the Voice Portal team with a motivated and hands-on Intermediate DevOps Engineer who will help us keep the platform reliable, scalable and easy to operate, while continuously improving the way we build, deploy, monitor and run our services.\nVoice Portal is working on the voice assistant available on the Orange set-top box. People talk to the television - find a programme, change channel, control volume or playback, ask for a recommendation - and the platform turns that into an action. It serves several countries, including France and Spain, and the team works in an Agile way with colleagues across countries.\nThe business services are written in Kotlin with Quarkus. The real-time voice path - sign-in, live session, speech recognition, language model and spoken replies - is written in Go with Fiber. The platform runs in Docker and Kubernetes on Google Cloud, with Redis and Firestore behind the services.\nYou will work closely with developers and other technical teams throughout the lifecycle of the platform, from automation and deployment to observability, troubleshooting and production operation.\nIf you are willing to know more, we will be happy to invite you for a chat.\nWho you are\nYou are an experienced DevOps Engineer passionate about automation, cloud technologies and reliable systems.\nYou are comfortable working independently on technical challenges involving applications, infrastructure, cloud platforms and networking.\nYou enjoy understanding how systems behave end to end and getting to the root cause when something goes wrong.\nYou have a strong interest in automation, reliability, security, performance and continuous improvement.\nYou enjoy collaborating with developers and other technical teams and sharing your knowledge with colleagues.\nYou are comfortable working in an international, fast-changing environment.\nWhat you’ll be doing\nBuild, maintain and improve the automation used to build, test, deploy, provision, configure and operate the Voice Portal platform.\nImplement, maintain and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines used by the team.\nManage infrastructure and platform configuration using Infrastructure as Code and Configuration Management practices.\nDeploy and operate containerised services running on Kubernetes in Google Cloud.\nContribute to the design and implementation of monitoring, logging, metrics, tracing and alerting needed to understand the health and behaviour of the platform.\nInvestigate and troubleshoot issues across applications, infrastructure, cloud services and network connectivity.\nSupport production operation and contribute to incident resolution, root cause analysis and preventive actions.\nIdentify opportunities to improve automation, reliability, security, performance and operability of the platform.\nWork closely with developers and other technical teams to make sure new features can be deployed and operated reliably.\nContribute to technical design discussions and help evaluate the operational impact of new solutions and platform changes.\nMaintain clear and useful technical and operational documentation.\nTake an active part in backlog grooming, sprint planning and the Agile processes used by the team.\nWhat you need to know/have\n3+ years of relevant experience in DevOps, system engineering, platform engineering, cloud or IT operations.\nGood Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.\nPractical scripting experience with Python, shell scripting or similar technologies.\nSolid experience with Git and version control workflows.\nHands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.\nPractical experience with Infrastructure as Code and Configuration Management tools such as Terraform, Ansible or equivalent.\nGood working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.\nPractical experience with public or private cloud environments;
