Candidates are skilled at understanding electric vehicle technical functions and administering in-depth technical support to remotely based technicians. Candidates also bring a history of working with product engineering and manufacturing teams to create tools to educate and advance the knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and repair.\n**This is a WEEKEND SHIFT. 4/10-hour position with standard day shift working hours of 8:00 am to 7:00 pm Friday through Monday. (This includes a shift differential $$) \nPosition Responsibilities\nAssist technicians via phone, video call or in person with diagnosis and repair \nAssist in development of technical training materials including Troubleshooting Guides, R&R instructions, Service Manuals, Special Production Instructions, Retrofit Instructions, etc.\nDaily Technical support of Orange EV Field Service and Customer Technicians \nHands-on collaboration with Manufacturing and Service Team Members\nWorking integrally with the Product Engineering Departments on current and future product programs\nService Diagnostic Computer and Tooling setup\nPosition Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree or Technical Certification in related field preferred. \n4+ years of Automotive or related technical experience. \nOccasional travel may be required. \nHigh-voltage safety certification (e.g., NFPA 70E or OEM-specific HV credentials) preferred. \nASE L3 (Light Duty Hybrid/Electric Vehicle) or equivalent manufacturer-specific credentials preferred. \nPhysical requirements include occasional field work and ability to lift components up to 50lbs. \nKey Technical Skills\n High-Voltage Safety: Mastery of \"Lockout/Tagout\" (LOTO) procedures and the \"Live-Dead-Live\" testing methodology to ensure high-voltage systems (300V-800V) are safely de-energized before repair. \n Writing and Communication: Development and creation of written procedures and bulletins as well as live phone support of field technicians. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
