With over 30,000 employees across Asia, the Americas, Africa, and Europe, we offer a dynamic environment to develop and perfect your skills in a field filled with exciting challenges and opportunities.\nAbout the roleThe main mission of the Mobile Core Network Engineer is to ensure the design and implementation of innovative core network solutions that enhance the overall telecommunications infrastructure, driving the organization forward towards its vision of seamless connectivity and advanced network reliability.\nMain activities\nDesign and develop technical solutions tailored to client projects, including High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD).\nDefine the implementation roadmap for 4G and 5G core network solutions aligned with client needs.\nContribute to the successful deployment of mobile core network solutions in lab, pre-production, and production environments, ensuring horizontal and vertical integration.\nWork within a Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI-CD) environment.\nDefine test scenarios, execute tests, and analyze collected traces in end-to-end (E2E) environments, including 5G, VoLTE, and IoT applications.\nProvide ongoing support for deployed solutions in production and address any related responsibilities.\nRequired Skills:\nIn-depth knowledge of mobile networks, encompassing protocols, architectures, and interworking capabilities.\nMastery of LTE/5G architectures and engineering concepts. Knowledge of 3GPP standards related to mobile core networks.\nPractical experience with key mobile core network elements, including AMF/MME, SMF/SPGW-C, UPF/SPGW-U, and others.\nProven experience in deploying mobile core network solutions in operational environment.\nExperience in support activities for operational networks.\nFamiliarity with functional, performance, and E2E testing tools.\nProficient with CI-CD integration and testing automation tools, such as GitLab.\nExperience with containerized mobile core network deployments in Telco cloud environments, such as Redhat OpenShift.\nKnowledge of OSS and BSS solutions\nUnderstanding of 4G/5G RAN radio networks.\nPractical knowledge of IPv4 and IPv6 architectures, including IP routing, QoS, MPLS, and VPN technologies.\nAwareness of security measures and technologies pertinent to mobile core networks.\nAbility to coordinate and manage technical activities.\nAbility to manage supplier relationships.\nAbility to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.\nDemonstrated rigor, curiosity, and attention to detail in technical tasks.\nEffective communication skills to translate client needs into technical requirements.\nActive participation in collaborative solution design.\nStrong interpersonal skills and a collaborative spirit.\nA solid understanding of the importance of delivering high-quality products within established costs and timelines.\nA commitment to continuous learning and staying up-to-date with technological advancements.\nProficient in English, both spoken and written.\nEducation:\nGraduate degree in Software Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.\nA minimum of 5 to 8 years of proven experience in telecommunications focused on mobile core networks.\nThe role requires work in shifts (24/7 operation)About you\nWithin OINIS/ Services, the “Mobile Services” department is responsible for the architecture, engineering, the construction, deployment and operation of all international mobile services (roaming, messaging, 5G CNaaS), which are one of the growth drivers for international wholesale.
