It supports the evolution of network connectivity for Orange Business and Orange Wholesale through a reliable, scalable, and scopeless approach.\nThis department is composed of :\n4 Network Engineering and Support teams (EMEA, AMER, APAC, France), primarily responsible for network and service engineering activities, as well as providing network operations and support.\nThe Platform Lifecycle & Evolution team, responsible for delivering software foundations for OGN/RAEI routers and switches. This team also manages platform engineering, contributes to service development, and supports network automation use cases.\nThe Network Automation team, made up of network engineers, service engineers, and developers, with the mission to support the ambitions of the transversal Automation program and its associated streams. Its goal is to deliver IT modules and tools that enable automated services and backbone network operations in a scopeless approach.\nAutomation team hosts a transversal Automation Program with resources and profiles coming from all department teams. It relies on three agile sub-teams:\nBackbone Automation team: responsible for automating operations and provisioning of OINIS backbone networks.\nTool Automation team: provides enablers and tools to network automation teams and operational users for L2/L3 network operations.\nService Automation team: offers a common framework for automating OB/OWI service use cases originating from various projects and SAFE programs.\nYou will be part of this agile service automation team, responsible for modeling several services (e.g., L3VPN, L2VPN, IPSEC-based services, switch aggregation, etc.) and developing modules (e.g., NSO packages) to automate service provisioning and configuration (creation, deletion, and modification).\nThis team needs to be expanded through this position, based in Slovakia (Bratislava).\nMain activities will be:\nTo modelize specific L3 & L2 Orange Business Services/Orange Wholesale International\nTo develop modules needed for specific projects linked to the automation of VPN network services or functions (e.g. using Cisco NSO network controller).\nTo develop & maintain required automation framework in lab (e.g. tests to integrate in dedicated Web Portal & Scheduler and/or in a CI/CD chain upon needs using Ansible, GITLAB CI , Robot Framework…)\nTo validate network functions or services in a lab: you need to understand them as pre-requisite to their proper automation and modeling.\nTo automate network tests (in Python) which are executed in a lab representative of our International MPLS VPN networks.\nTo transfer knowledge to the operational engineers who will use the tests automated or the service modules developed.\nBase salary from1 680 € brutto per month, actual salary is likely to be higher based on skills, knowledge and experience.\nAbout youTechnical skills\nCoding / programming skills: Python language is our prime reference, past experience with developing in that language (even during university) is required. Experience in other language (e.g. Shell, javascript) is also appreciated\nAutomation framework knowledge (tools, languages) including CI/CD automation chain & GIT at least. Also potentially Ansible, Jenkins, Jinja2, yaml, GITLAB CI or Robot Framework are tools used in our environment.
