This hybrid role bridges the gap between traditional software development and modern infrastructure management. You will design, develop, and deliver scalable software solutions while simultaneously building, automating, and maintaining the CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure that support them. Your expertise will accelerate our software delivery lifecycle, enhance system reliability, and ensure robust security practices from code commit to production deployment.\nKey Responsibilities\nSoftware Development & Architecture\nDesign and develop scalable, optimized software solutions tailored to internal and external customer needs.\nApply professional software engineering best practices throughout the SDLC, including strict coding standards, code reviews, unit testing, and source control management.\nDevelop robust APIs and write highly optimized database queries (Microsoft SQL and MySQL).\nSupport production software by debugging issues, developing new features, and actively contributing to the overall solution roadmap.\nInfrastructure & Deployment Automation\nDesign, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines utilizing tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.\nAutomate deployment processes and provision infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible.\nImplement, manage, and scale containerization solutions using Docker and orchestrate them via Kubernetes.\nCollaborate directly with development teams to continuously refine application architecture and deployment strategies.\nIntegrate security directly into the DevSecOps process by actively analyzing and resolving Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs).\nAbout youQualifications & Requirements\nEducation & Experience\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.\n3+ years of strong, hands-on experience blending Software Development and DevOps.\nFluent in English; French is considered a strong plus.\nCore Technical Skills\nSoftware Engineering: Advanced proficiency in Python and the Django framework is a must. Experience with other frameworks/languages (.Net, NodeRed, React, etc.) is highly valued.\n DevOps & Cloud: Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and CI/CD pipeline development.\n Infrastructure & Containers: Solid understanding of containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).\n Systems & Scripting: Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, PowerShell)\n Data & Integration: Expertise in relational databases (Microsoft SQL, MySQL), API development, and version control systems (Git).\nSecurity & Networking: Deep understanding of networking concepts, security protocols, and secure infrastructure deployment.\nMethodologies & Soft Skills\nStrong background in Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe) and service-oriented environments.\nthinking, and a proactive approach to identifying potential bottlenecks.\nProven ability to work both independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams in different time zones.\nAdaptability to rapidly changing technologies, with a strong attention to detail and unwavering commitment to software quality.\nYou bring passion, energy, taste for exploration and adaptability.
