With over 30,000 employees across Asia, the Americas, Africa, and Europe, we offer a dynamic environment to develop and perfect your skills in a field filled with exciting challenges and opportunities.\nJob Title\nSr. Consultant - Cloud Solutions\nRole Overview\nWe are looking for a highly experienced Senior Expert to take end-to-end technical ownership of the Evolution Platform VNE (Virtual Network Edge) Service, ensuring a highly available, scalable, automated, and secure platform who has evolved into a DevOps/SRE/Automation expert.\nRelevant Experience\n8+ years of experience in Network Engineering, Platform Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure or related technology domains.\n5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, automation and platform engineering, preferably within telecom, networking, NaaS, SDN/NFV or cloud infrastructure environments.\n5+ years of experience with Virtual Network Edge (VNE), VNF/VNFaaS, SDN/NFV or virtualized network services.\nKey Responsibilities\nTake end-to-end technical ownership of the Evolution Platform VNE Service, including architecture, deployment, lifecycle management, availability, performance, and continuous improvement.\nDefine and implement platform standards, engineering practices, and operational processes.\nEnsure scalability, reliability, security, and resilience of the VNE environment.\nTroubleshoot complex platform and production issues and lead root-cause analysis and permanent remediation.\nDevelop reusable automation frameworks, scripts, APIs, and tooling.\nDevelop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for VNE services and platform components.\nImplement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, Python or equivalent.\nDesign and implement end-to-end automation for infrastructure provisioning, application deployment, configuration, testing, monitoring, and lifecycle management.\nCollaborate with architecture, development, operations, security, and infrastructure teams.\nEvaluate new technologies and identify opportunities to improve the VNE service.\nEnsure high availability and reliability of the VNE service through proactive monitoring, capacity management, performance optimization, and resilience engineering.\nLead incident, problem, and change management from a technical perspective.\nEstablish automated health checks, alerting, remediation, and recovery mechanisms.\nDrive reduction of MTTR and operational toil through automation.\nAct as the technical SME and escalation point for VNE-related platform and automation challenges.\nLead technical initiatives from concept through implementation and operational handover.\nPreferred / Good-to-Have Skills\nKnowledge of SDN/NFV, Kubernetes networking, service mesh, or network orchestration.\nStrong hands-on experience with Virtual Network Edge (VNE), VNF/VNFaaS, SDN and NFV concepts and technologies.\nExperience in deploying, configuring, operating and troubleshooting virtual network functions such as Firewall, Router, SD-WAN, Cloud Networking and SSE/SASE.\nUnderstanding of VNE lifecycle management - provisioning, configuration, modification, upgrade, patching, scaling, monitoring and decommissioning.\nStrong understanding of VNF service chaining and interconnection with Internet, WAN/MPLS and public/private cloud.\nExperience working with multi-vendor network/security functions and integrating vendor releases into a common platform.\nManaged multi-vendor SD-WAN/SASE/firewall environments.\nExperience working with multi-vendor network and security technologies, preferably including Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Versa, VeloCloud, HPE Aruba, Zscaler, Netskope, Aviatrix or equivalent.\nAbility to troubleshoot issues across VNE ¿ VNF ¿ virtual infrastructure ¿ network connectivity ¿ cloud/service layer.\nStrong knowledge of IP networking, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, routing and switching.\nHands-on knowledge of BGP, OSPF, VRF, MPLS/IP-VPN, VLAN/VXLAN and IPsec.\nStrong understanding of VPN connectivity and network segmentation.\nExcellent Python scripting/programming skills.\nExperience with REST APIs, JSON/YAML and API-driven automation.\nExperience automating network configuration using Ansible/Terraform or equivalent.\nStrong experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure, network services and platform components.\nExperience designing monitoring and observability for network and virtualized services.\nStrong production troubleshooting and root-cause analysis capabilities.\nExperience reducing MTTR, operational toil and manual intervention.\nProven experience operating business-critical production services in a 24×7 environment.\nStrong knowledge of observability and service assurance using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch and equivalent platforms.\nGood understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, Helm and cloud-native architectures, with practical experience in containerized environments preferred.\nYou bring rigor, passion for challenges, and determination.
