You’ll conduct comprehensive credit analysis, establish and monitor customer credit limits, manage credit approvals and order releases, and proactively identify changes in customer financial risk.\nYou’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners while leveraging credit reporting agencies, financial data, and technology to make informed credit decisions and continuously improve our credit processes.\nThis role is based in Rochelle Park, New Jersey and operates within ORBCOMM’s hybrid work environment.\nWhat You’ll Do\nCredit Analysis & Risk Management\nEvaluate the creditworthiness of new and existing customers through financial and credit analysis.\nEstablish and approve appropriate credit limits in accordance with company policies and approval authority.\nContinuously monitor existing customer exposure and financial risk to determine whether current credit limits remainappropriate.\nAnalyze financial information, payment history, credit reports, and other relevant risk indicators to support sound credit decisions.\nUtilize Credit safe, Dun & Bradstreet (D&B), and Experian credit reports to support customer credit assessments.\nCoordinate with internal teams, rating agencies, banks, and legal advisors to support due diligence and compliance requirements.\nProactively identify changes in customer creditworthiness and recommend appropriate adjustments to credit limits or terms.\nCredit Operations & Controls\nAdhere to and enforce ORBCOMM’s credit policies and procedures.\nManage order release activities and credit approvals.\nMaintain and update customer credit files while ensuring compliance with internal policies.\nMonitor customer accounts and credit exposure to identify emerging financial risks.\nMaintainappropriate documentation supporting credit decisions, limits, approvals, and exceptions.\nEnsure credit activities are completed accurately, consistently, and in accordance with established controls.\nSystems, Automation & Process Improvement\nUtilize Salesforce and JDE to support credit operations, customer information, and workflow management.\nImplement and enhance automation within the credit application and approval process.\nIdentify opportunities to improve credit workflows, controls, reporting, and data accuracy.\nSupport process improvement initiatives that increase efficiency and consistency across the credit function.\nPartner with internal teams to strengthen credit processes and leverage technology to improve decision-making.\nWho You Are\nYou’re an experienced credit professional with strong financial judgment and the ability to balance risk management with business needs.\nIf you have:\nBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a relatedfield.\n5-7+ years of experience in corporate credit analysis and credit risk management.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.\nExcellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-management abilities.\nAbility to manage multiple accounts with exceptional attention to detail.\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.\nStrong understanding of AI, automation, and process improvement initiatives.\nLeverage AI-enabled tools and automation to support daily tasks and productivity.\nCommitment to continuous learning in digital and AI literacy.\nThen we want to meetyou!\nThe Benefits of Working Here\nA career with ORBCOMM offers a unique opportunity to grow your skills and expand your expertise in a collaborative, innovative environment.
