Be part of our shared mission with Orbia to Advance Life Around the World.\nThe Line Operator is responsible for physically operating an extrusion line in a way that ensures all products are produced free from cosmetic and physical defects and are within manufacturing tolerances. The Line Operator is responsible for the quality of the product run and adjusts and documents operating conditions to produce the highest attainable quality of pipe in a safe and efficient manner.\nLearn More. As you develop new skills and demonstrate proficiency, you may become eligible for percentage-based pay increases and future advancement opportunities.\nKey Responsibilities:\nPerform checks of equipment, materials, and product; monitor extruders.\n\nAdjust the extruder, die, water, and vacuum to maintain product quality.\n\nEnsure the pipe print line is applied according to the Quality Manual.\n\nEnsure product dimensions, tolerances, and appearance meet quality standards and inform the Supervisor or Lead of any changes.\n\nPerform SDR and size changes, setup, and changeover activities.\n\nDocument product dimensions accurately.\n\nCorrect output, quality, speed, and tooling changes as needed.\n\nCoordinate changes with other extrusion line operators.\n\nReport unsafe or broken equipment.\n\nParticipate in training, safety, and continuous improvement activities.\n\nRequirements:\nHigh School diploma preferred.\n\nBasic math/measurement & reading comprehension skills\n\nAt least 1 year of equipment or machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment.\n\nAbility to use measuring devices and use hand tools.\n\nAbility to follow work instructions and use basic math.\n\nMaterial handling and forklift experience.\n\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to move around obstacles and wear required PPE.\n\nAbility to stand and walk for 8-12 hours.\n\nAbility to lift and move up to 50 lbs.\n\nAbility to climb, reach, squat, and bend.\n\nAbility to work in environments with temperature variation and noise.\n\nPerks of Joining Our Team\nMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Benefits Starting Day One!!\nStrong 401(k): up to 6% company match, + automatic 3% company contribution\nQuarterly Performance, Referral Bonus, Sign On Bonus, and/or other rewards if appliable!!\nGenerous Paid PTO, Sick Time & Parental Leave!!\nCompany-Paid Insurance Coverage!!\nCareer Growth & Wellness Support!!\nTuition, Fitness, Safety Boots & Safety Glasses Reimbursement!!\nOur Offer:\nThe compensation for this position is typically start at $23.81/Hour.\nNight shift also includes $1.00/hr. shift differential!!\nThe actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.
