Each employee has a place in shaping the future of our industry.\nAbout the Role: \nThe mission of the Senior DevOps Engineer is to plan, develop, monitor, and optimize the architecture of our company’s systems. The ideal candidate excels in working with public clouds, large-scale applications and frameworks, has outstanding communication and leadership skills.\nWhat You'll Do:\nDesign and implement solutions to improve new and existing infrastructure\nBuild monitoring systems, monitor the system’s health, implementing self-healing systems\nBuild and support R&D development environments\nDesign and implement robust CI/CD pipelines\nAssess existing implementation procedures to ensure they comply with internal and external regulations.\nOffer support by responding to system problems in a timely manner.\nBuild, support, and operate FedRAMP compliant infrastructure.\nFedRAMP SECURITY AND PRIVACY RESPONSIBILITIES\nEnsure the smooth and secure operation of Orca’s GovCloud and other relevant environments.\nTake charge of applying FedRAMP continuous dependency upgrades and resolving vulnerabilities\nImprove system monitoring and observability through log analysis, dashboard creation, and automated alerts based on established SLOs and SLAs\nAdhere to Orca’s policies and procedures according to the designation of Internal-Privileged access rights.\nWho You Are:\nUS Citizen (FedRAMP requirement)\n3+ years experience in a similar role and experience working with public clouds\nExperience with I/S as code, deployments done using descriptive languages such as terraform.\nExperience with building and operating FedRamp authorized systems.\nSelf-driven and eager to learn\nExcellent organizational, analytical abilities and problem solving.\nDeployment tools - Ansible/Terraform\nMonitoring tools - Prometheus/Graphite\nMicroservices tools: Kubernetes, Helm\nExperience with designing and implementing sophisticated CI/CD pipelines\nProgramming experience with Python, Java or Golang and knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash\nKnowledge in various system-level topics - OS, networking, file system management.\nGood written and verbal communication skills.\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent\nWhat We Offer:\nCompetitive salary and equity package\nDiscounted medical, dental, and vision benefits with significant employer contribution\nBenefits coverage starting on your first day of employment\nGenerous PTO with U.S. holidays observed and flexible hybrid & remote work environments\nWork-from-home stipend to be used in your first month of employment\nMonthly reimbursement for cell phone and for home internet\nThe chance to collaborate with a team of talented global colleagues all around the world\nAnnual Salary range: $170,000 - $200,000.
