We are responsible for the successful integration with our new partner companies as well as any future acquisition activity.\nWe work with management and other key agency stakeholders to drive profitability and monitor key performance indicators. We are growing a team of experienced finance professionals, change agents, Excel masters and complex problem-solvers to collaborate cross-functionally to assess financial strategies, systems and processes in an effort to drive the full-cycle financial health of all our clients.\nABOUT THIS ROLE\nOrchestra is seeking a Financial Analyst who will own revenue accounting, financial forecasting, pricing, reporting & analysis and business risk assessment. The Finance team is in-office at least 3 days per week.\nACCOUNTABILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS\nAs a Financial Analyst on the Finance team, you will…\nProvide day-to-day financial support to practices and assist with business management at the project and practice level\nResponsible for maintaining various financial trackers and reports (month-end reporting, budget trackers, financial statements, A/R, staff utilization, burn reports, WIP management, over-service reporting, etc.)\nParticipate in the coordination of the annual budget and re-forecasts\nProactively document, follow up on and close out in a timely fashion any revenue, budgeting, billing, invoicing or payment issues that pertain to client(s)\nOwn AR function with billing supervisor, including pursuing timely collection with continuous internal & client follow-up and escalating collections issues as necessary\nPartner with practices to ensure monthly financial schedule is followed\nPrepare month-end journal entries for revenue and intercompany transfers if required\nSupport in the monthly and annual budgeting processes\nOpen and manage jobs in coordination with account teams\nMonitor jobs, estimates, POs and rate cards to ensure accuracy as well as project activity\nServe as a reliable and forward-thinking business analytics resource on assigned practices and provide oversight to practices\nLead and participate in financial meetings with internal teams\nParticipate in any and all Sarbanes-Oxley initiatives and ad hoc projects as needed\nEssential skills:\n2+ years of experience in client finance \nExperience in NetSuite or similar accounting/ERP packages (SAP, Anaplan, Oracle)\nStrong time management skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines\nProficiency in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills (lookups, pivots, dashboards, advanced formulas, etc.)\nDemonstrated proficiency and understanding of GAAP, accruals and revenue accounting\nClear and efficient communication skills with finance and non-finance stakeholders\nAbility to effectively manage workload, prioritize and streamline tasks to ensure accuracy and take “ownership-mentality” in work, clients and practices\nPreferred skills:\nAgency or client services experience (advertising, PR, communications, media or legal)\nWorking knowledge of media finance and operations\nWORKING AT ORCHESTRA\nSalary range (commensurate with experience and skills): $65,000-$75,000\nOrchestra is the first communications company built for today’s media landscape.
