We are responsible for the successful integration with our new partner companies as well as any future acquisition activity.\nWe work with management and other key agency stakeholders to drive profitability and monitor key performance indicators. We are growing a team of experienced finance professionals, change agents, Excel masters and complex problem-solvers to collaborate cross-functionally to assess financial strategies, systems and processes in an effort to drive the full-cycle financial health of all our clients.\nABOUT THIS ROLE\nThe Vice President, Client Finance serves as a strategic finance partner to leadership across a vertical within Orchestra.This role is responsible for financial oversight, operational rigor, and performance optimization-ensuring accurate reporting, disciplined forecasting, and actionable insights that drive profitability and support business growth.\n The position manages one Financial Analyst and reports to the EVP, Client Finance.\nRole location: This role is based in our New York, N.Y. office on a hybrid basis. The Finance team is in-office at least 3 days per week.\nACCOUNTABILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS\nAs a Vice President, Client Finance, you will...\nFinancial Management & Close\nLead month-end close for one vertical, including revenue recognition, accruals and variance analysis\nThis will include ensuring journal entries properly reflect retainer and project revenue models\nEnsure accuracy and integrity of financial data across NetSuite, HubSpot and PowerBI\nGenerate manager reporting, including revenue, utilization, over-servicing metrics, pending contracts and AR\nForecasting & Planning\nOwn and review client-level forecasts, leveraging Power BI and internal reporting tools\nPartner with vertical leadership to align financial plans with business objectives\nIdentify risks, opportunities and trends; proactively recommend mitigation strategies\nBusiness Partnership & Strategy\nAct as a key advisor to vertical leadership on financial performance, client profitability, and resource allocation\nProvide data-driven insights on over-servicing, pricing, and margin improvement opportunities\nSupport new business proposals, staffing models, and capacity planning in conjunction with Pricing Desk and Resource management.\nClient Profitability & Renewals\nMonitor and analyze client profitability, including managed revenue, utilization, and over-servicing\nPartner with Client Relationship Leads (CRLs) and practice heads to refine commercial terms and improve account economics.\nReporting & Analytics\nGenerate mid-level manager reporting, including revenue, utilization, over-servicing metrics, pending contracts and AR\nMaintain data accuracy across NetSuite, HubSpot, Replicon, and other systems\nAccounts Receivable Oversight\nReview AR performance across managed verticals, including aging, collections, and risk mitigation\nPartner with AR team to escalate and resolve issues \nTeam Leadership\nManage and develop a Financial Analyst, including coaching, performance management, and career development\nFoster a high-performance, accountable team environment\nAd Hoc & Continuous Improvement\nLead or support special projects, process improvements, and system enhancements\nIdentify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve financial visibility \nEssential Skills:\n7+ years’ experience in finance\nIntermediate to Advanced knowledge of financial systems (NetSuite experience required) and Microsoft Excel\nDeep understanding of financial accounting, P&L, balance sheet management and revenue recognition methodologies\nStrong financial analysis and planning skills and demonstrated strong business acumen\nAbility to effectively manage workloads, prioritize and streamline tasks and multiple deadlines\nSelf-starter who is equal parts doer and teacher\nAbility to get to the root cause of an issue, problem solve for the long term while working with or creating off-the-cuff solutions\nDemonstrated staff management experience and leadership skills, ideally within a high-growth and dynamic organization\nConsulting and client service-oriented mindset with the ability to foster positive working relationships both externally and internally\nComfortable working with multiple stakeholders and managing their expectations\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nWORKING AT ORCHESTRA\nSalary range (commensurate with experience and skills): $135,000-$180,000\nVice Presidents are eligible for end of year bonuses based on firm, team and individual performance.\nOrchestra is the first communications company built for today’s media landscape.
