The team works to provide architecture, tools, services, knowledge, support, organization structure, and operating model arranged as a compelling product.\nAs a Cloud Engineer, you will be heavily participating in defining the organization’s cloud platform strategy, designing enterprise cloud solutions, and enabling cloud adoption across the business. This involves combining architecture vision with hands-on cloud engineering to align technical decisions with business objectives and regulatory requirements. This is a subset of the overall responsibilities which will include multiple initiatives as assigned by IT leadership.\nThis role is hybrid (Mon through Thu on-site / Fri remote) for candidates in the Kansas City metropolitan area and open to qualified remote candidates outside of the Kansas City area. However, the remote location must be within the US.\nHow you will spend your time: \nParticipate in defining enterprise cloud strategy (AWS), reference architectures, and design patterns.\nInvolved in hands-on building of AWS environments.\nDesign and implement CI/CD pipelines (Terraform)\nAdhere to governance frameworks, technology standards, and architectural principles.\nCommunicate architectural vision to executive, technical, and business audiences\nWe are excited to talk if you have: \nBachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience.\nAt least 5 years of experience in designing and implementing cloud architecture (AWS) for enterprise environments.\nFollowing technical skills:Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)\nAWS Cloud platform\nAWS Cloud security, identity, and compliance (i.e. IAM, VPC, etc.)\nAWS Network fundamentals (i.e. VPC design, routing, NLB, ALB, API_GW, etc.)\nContainerization (i.e. Docker)\n\nExceptional communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.\nStrategic thinker mindset balancing delivery with long-term vision.\nProficiency in Agile/Scrum.\nBonus Points if you have:\nAWS Solutions Architect Professional Certification, AWS DevOps Engineer Professional Certification, or any additional cloud certifications\nBanking/financial services industry experience\nDevelopment experience especially with .NET\nAWS Enterprise Support or Well-Architected Review experience\nEvent-driven architecture (i.e. Kafka, Kinesis)\nMicroservices and API design\nKubernetes advanced management\nIDE experience\nApplicants must have legal authority to work in the United States.
