We are a modern cloud native business, using Windows 11 laptops, IOS and Android mobiles. This role is responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance across core business systems, (mostly SaaS) including Microsoft 365, mobile devices, and laptop computers.\nThe ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to user support, and be enthusiastic about change.\nJoining an existing Service Desk team of 3, covering time zones from GMT, EST, PST for a near 24 x 5 IT service to the business. This role is onsite in Oxford to cover the UK time zone, but some out of hours may be necessary.\nMajor Responsibilities\nUnder direction from the IT Support lead, the IT Support Specialist will be responsible for:\nBeing part of a small but highly effective internal IT Service Desk team across time zones.\nResponding to and updating service desk requests in a timely and professional manner.\nProactively resolving issues and improving IT service by authoring / editing solution articles.\nManaging user accounts, permissions and licensing in MS365 / Entra.\nResolving issues with end user laptops, mobile devices & MS Teams rooms.\nPerforming software installs and updates. \nAssisting resolution of cybersecurity incidents\nHelp the growing IT team to provide excellent IT services to the rapidly growing business.\nAdhere to the letter and spirit of OrganOx’s Code of Conduct and all other company policies\nSome out-of-hours of shift work may be required.\nRequirements\nSkills & Experience\nStrong customer service skills, with an ability to converse with all levels of the organisation.\nAttention to detail, accurately completing IT tickets (Fresh Service ITSM).\nA collaborative approach to work to utilise existing team knowledge, and further contribute.\nExtensive experience administering Microsoft 365 / Entra.\nExtensive support experience with Windows 11 Operating system, IOS and Android.\nSupport experience with MS Teams rooms, and Mac OS also advantageous.\nMicrosoft Intune, application packaging and configuration would be advantageous.\nA self-starter who can work with minimal direction when needed.\nQualifications\nBSc Degree in Computing or similiar, or equivalent experience\nDemonstrable IT support experience.\nMicrosoft Certifications are advantageous.\nAbility to work onsite in Oxford UK.\nBenefits\nAt OrganOx, we value innovation, evidence, integrity, teamwork, respect, and passion.
