The role requires collaboration with other analysts, data engineers, data product managers, and business stakeholders. The position is responsible for overseeing our complaint and servicing data systems and reporting frameworks, ensuring the integrity and precision of data. The ideal candidate will transform raw data into structured information, which will then be analyzed to glean insights that drive strategic business decisions. The Senior Data Analyst is tasked with establishing analytical and reporting functions, as well as monitoring performance and quality assurance processes to pinpoint areas for improvement.\nMajor Responsibilities\nUnder direction from the Director, Complaints Management, the Senior Data Analyst will be responsible for the following tasks:\nEnsure that data analysis and reporting is accurate, consistent, and reliable throughout its lifecycle, which is critical for making valid and trustworthy decisions \nCleanse data and scrutinize computer-generated reports and outputs to identify and rectify coding errors \nGather data from various sources, including databases, APIs, and third-party sources and ensure the upkeep of databases and data systems \nCreate and maintain processes to generate accurate and timely reports that help stakeholders understand and act on key data insights \nIdentify opportunities for process improvements \nEngage with managers to specify data requirements for analysis projects tailored to their unique business processes \nDesign scripts and tools to automatically extract large volumes of data from websites or other digital sources, improving efficiency and availability \nDetect, examine, and decode trends or patterns within intricate datasets \nEmploy statistical techniques to scrutinize data and produce actionable business insights \nDevelop data dashboards, charts, and visual aids to support decision-making across departments \nConduct in-depth data analysis using advanced statistical methods and tools to uncover patterns, correlations, and insights \nManage and update databases to ensure they are secure, accessible, and functioning properly \nCoordinate with management to align business and informational priorities \nAdhere to the letter and spirit of OrganOx’s Code of Conduct and all other company policies \nRequirements\nSkills & Experience\nPossess a solid foundation in statistics and practical experience with statistical software (such as Excel and Power BI) and mastery in data analysis languages including SQL, Python, and R \nProficient at create presentations and data visualizations within PowerPoint \nExhibit exceptional analytical abilities to compile, structure, examine, and present substantial data sets with precision and thoroughness. \nCapable of critically evaluating data to derive meaningful, actionable insights \nDemonstrate superior communication and presentation capabilities, adept at simplifying complex data insights for audiences without a technical background \nExperience in medical device or pharmaceutical industries preferred \nAbility to work independently \nQualifications\nBachelor's Degree in an analytical/research field (Math, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, etc.) and 5+ years of experience in data analytics, or equivalent combination.
