Planning & Quality StrategyDevelop short- and long-term incoming quality control plans in alignment with departmental objectives.\n\nEstablish inspection and testing strategies in coordination with the Quality Department.\n\nDefine KPIs for incoming materials quality and monitor performance against agreed targets.\n\nReview and update inspection procedures, sampling plans, and acceptance criteria according to applicable standards, including ISO 2859-1 where appropriate.\n\nEstablish risk-based inspection approaches according to material criticality, supplier performance, and quality history.\n\nB. Supervision & Incoming Inspection OperationsSupervise incoming materials inspection teams across receiving and storage locations.\n\nAllocate responsibilities, monitor workloads, and ensure timely completion of inspection and testing activities.\n\nEnsure all incoming materials are inspected, tested, and documented according to approved procedures.\n\nEnsure timely recording of material usage decisions (release or rejection) in SAP and monitor stock held under Quality Inspection status.\n\nCoordinate shade matching and production trials for dyed yarns, including space-dyed yarns, with Production and the Color Laboratory.\n\nEnsure laboratory equipment is calibrated, maintained, and suitable for use, with complete traceability of test results.\n\nEnforce Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements in sampling, testing, and chemical-handling activities.\n\nC. Supplier Quality ManagementCollaborate with Procurement to evaluate supplier quality performance and compliance with approved specifications.\n\nParticipate in the qualification and evaluation of new and existing suppliers.\n\nCommunicate quality issues to suppliers and ensure effective corrective and preventive actions are implemented.\n\nLead periodic supplier quality review meetings and monitor improvement plans.\n\nIssue Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs) and follow up on their closure.\n\nSupport supplier claims and debit notes related to non-conforming materials.\n\nD. Quality Assurance & ComplianceEnsure incoming materials comply with approved specifications, applicable standards, and customer requirements.\n\nVerify the availability and validity of required material certificates and technical documentation.\n\nInvestigate incoming material quality issues and complaints, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.\n\nControl non-conforming materials and coordinate decisions regarding rejection, return, rework, treatment, or other approved dispositions.\n\nMonitor blocked-stock ageing and ensure timely resolution through a documented control process.\n\nVerify compliance with applicable chemical and customer-specific requirements, including REACH and OEKO-TEX requirements where relevant.\n\nEnsure effective implementation of ISO 9001 requirements and support internal and external audits.\n\nE. Reporting & Continuous ImprovementPrepare daily, weekly, and monthly incoming quality performance reports.\n\nAnalyze inspection results, rejection rates, supplier defects, and quality trends to identify improvement opportunities.\n\nRecommend actions to reduce material defects, production disruptions, waste, and quality-related costs.\n\nDevelop training plans to improve the technical capabilities and performance of the quality team.\n\nParticipate in quality management reviews, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.\n\nRequirements\nBachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Textile Engineering, or a related field.\n\nGood command of Arabic and English, both written and spoken.\n\nMinimum 7 years of experience in Quality, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.\n\nPractical experience in incoming quality control within the textile or manufacturing industries.\n\nProven experience implementing and maintaining ISO 9001 quality management systems.\n\nExperience managing local and international suppliers and resolving supplier quality issues.\n\nHands-on experience with SAP QM/MM or an equivalent ERP system.\n\nPractical knowledge of testing yarns, polymers, dyed yarns, and other relevant raw materials.\n\nIn-depth knowledge of textile materials, raw materials, and applicable quality standards.\n\nStrong understanding of incoming inspection, sampling methods, acceptance criteria, and material testing.\n\nKnowledge of supplier quality management, root-cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).\n\nUnderstanding of non-conforming material control and risk-based inspection.\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel and quality reporting tools.\n\nFamiliarity with chemical compliance requirements and material certification systems, where applicable.\n\nThe following certifications are considered an advantage:\nCertified Quality Engineer (CQE).\n\nCertified Quality Auditor (CQA).\n\nISO 9001 Lead Auditor.\n\nSix Sigma Green Belt or Black
