Apply today and start the most rewarding chapter of your career with us.\nJob Description\nPerforms accounting functions according to established procedures and as directed by Accounting Management.Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following:\nCorporate Accounting:\nPerform daily reconciliation of the Loan Control and/or Clearing General Ledger Accounts applying appropriate accounting policies/practices in a consistent and timely manner; identifying outages and ensuring necessary entries are made to bring the account into balance.\nMonitors the Interface Balancing Report daily to ensure loan applications and related general ledger accounts are in balance; researching outages and ensuring necessary entries and loan corrections are made to bring the account(s) into balance.\nMonitors the fee related error codes on the Loan Maintenance Cross Check report; performs a review of the loans identified to determine what entries caused the error and ensuring corrections/adjustments are made to the fees to resolve the errors.\nRecords daily purchases and sales of mortgage loans, utilizing mortgage software and information systems to ensure entries are posted accurately.\nBalances purchases and sales to incoming and outgoing wire transfers and funds remittances.\nRecords daily warehouse lending activity, utilizing the warehouse lending software and information systems to ensure entries are posted accurately.\nUtilizes technology systems such as Blackline, IBS, and Peoplesoft. \nReconcile and monitor other general ledger accounts as requested.\nAssists with month-end accounting entries as requested.\nWorks on other accounting tasks and projects as requested.\nWorks on ad-hoc projects which require a fundamental accounting knowledge, at times with little supervision.\nBacks up other functions within accounting as needed.\nPrepares reports and requests as needed for examiners and auditors.\nFinancial Reporting:\nAssist in the preparation of quarterly and annual SEC filings, including Forms 10-Q, 10-K and other applicable filings.\nSupport key components of SEC filings, including earnings releases, investor presentations, and proxy-related disclosures, as well as related tie-outs and supporting schedules.\nAssist in the preparation of quarterly and annual GAAP disclosure checklists to support compliance with GAAP requirements.\nPrepare monthly stock-based compensation journal entries and maintain supporting schedules, including tracking of equity awards, related activities and dividends.\nPrepare monthly equity rollforward schedules, including share activity tracking and share reconciliations.\nAssist with monthly earnings per share calculations and related supporting schedules.\nParticipate in efficiency improvements and continuous improvement initiatives.\nMaintain and update documentation for key tasks, procedures, and best practices.\nUtilizes financial reporting and accounting systems, including Workiva, PeopleSoft, Blackline, and IBS.\nPerform ad-hoc projects which require a fundamental accounting knowledge.\nSupervisory Responsibilities\nThis job has no supervisory responsibilities.\nQualifications\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
