By implementing clear systems and processes, the role will optimise warehouse workflows, maximise space utilisation, and support the effective movement of stock throughout the operation.\nA key aspect of the role will be the development and enhancement of the existing Warehouse Management System (WMS) for roastery-related goods. This will improve inventory visibility, record accuracy, and service-level compliance, while driving operational efficiencies and supporting the continued growth of the Roastery.\nWhat you'll do\nStock & Inventory Management\nManage the receipt, storage and organisation of incoming goods, ensuring all deliveries are accurately checked and recorded.\n\nMaintain stock accuracy through regular audits, reconciliations and effective stock rotation practices.\n\nInvestigate and resolve stock discrepancies, damages and inventory-related issues.\n\nWork closely with the Supply Chain Manager to support stock forecasting and inventory planning.\n\nEnsure all stock movements are accurately recorded within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).\n\nOversee the storage and rotation of finished products, including roasted coffee, cold brew and capsules.\n\nWarehouse Operations\nMaintain an organised, efficient and safe warehouse environment.\n\nOptimise warehouse layout and storage systems to maximise capacity and improve operational efficiency.\n\nDevelop and continuously improve stock control processes and best practices.\n\nSupport warehouse and dispatch operations, including vehicle loading and day-to-day logistics activities.\n\nCreate and maintain clear product and storage labelling to ensure effective stock management.\n\nSystems & Reporting\nUse WMS and Microsoft Excel to monitor inventory, analyse performance and produce key operational reports and KPIs.\n\nEnsure accurate record-keeping and maintain data integrity across inventory systems.\n\nCompliance & Safety\nChampion high standards of housekeeping, hygiene and health & safety throughout the warehouse.\n\nConduct daily forklift checks, reporting and escalating any maintenance issues.\n\nSupport compliance and audit activities by maintaining accurate records, including temperature logs, cleaning schedules and pest control documentation.\n\nWork collaboratively with operational teams to ensure all materials are stored, handled and managed in line with company and regulatory requirements.\n\nWho you are\nYou are a highly organised and process-driven warehouse professional with proven experience managing inbound goods and inventory control.
