You'll work closely with application teams and vendors to make that happen. You'll also help us explore how AI-enabled automation can improve the way we operate.\nPlease note that the role includes taking part in our on-call support rotation.\nWhat you'll do\nProvide first- and second-level support for cloud issues, troubleshooting across our infrastructure and recommending new services and solutions\n\nBuild and maintain cloud infrastructure as code with Terraform\n\nHelp deliver cloud projects from design and cost analysis through to build\n\nIntroduce and improve the automation tools, principles and processes that keep our platforms reliable\n\nStrengthen our core cloud capability, and build a knowledge base and community of practice around our chosen technologies\n\nWhat you'll bring\nDemonstrated experience using Terraform to implement and maintain secure, reusable, version-controlled infrastructure\n\nExperience building, deploying and supporting workloads in AWS and/or Azure\n\nCompetency in at least one programming or scripting language\n\nExperience with CI/CD tools, modern software development practices and IT change control processes\n\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, and clear written communication, including technical documentation\n\nA degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or relevant certifications (AWS and Azure certifications are highly regarded)\n\nGreat to have\nObservability, monitoring and incident management, including SRE practices and automated remediation\n\nContainers (Kubernetes, Docker, ECS)\n\nBuilding AI-enabled and agentic solutions that automate operational workflows\n\nCloud security, governance and cost management\n\nActive Directory, EntraID, IAM and/or DNS experience\n\nServiceNow, Jira and Agile approaches\n\nExperience in energy or financial trading environments with 24/7 mission-critical systems\n\nOrigin - Where good change happens\nAt Origin, we’re powered by people who believe in creating change.\nWe are committed to fostering a diverse, gender equitable workforce, where everyone is welcome, and all applications are evaluated on merit and potential.
