We are now looking for a highly organised and proactive Recruitment Administrator to join our HR & Recruitment team on a 6 month FTCand play a key role in supporting recruitment activity across the Origin Environmental businesses.
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys administration, organisation, communication and working with people. Reporting to the Head of Recruitment & HR, you will provide essential recruitment and HR administration support throughout the hiring process, ensuring an exceptional experience for candidates and hiring managers alike.
You will be responsible for producing employment offers and contracts, maintaining accurate employee records, supporting onboarding activities and proactively sourcing candidates through LinkedIn and other channels to help build a strong pipeline of future environmental talent.
The role offers exposure to the full recruitment lifecycle within a fast-growing and purpose-driven organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and issue employment offers, contracts and recruitment correspondence.
- Manage recruitment administration from vacancy approval through to onboarding.
- Advertise vacancies across LinkedIn and other recruitment platforms.
- Conduct proactive LinkedIn searches to identify potential candidates and build talent pipelines for current and future opportunities.
- Support candidate screening and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
- Maintain accurate records within our HR and recruitment systems.
- Process new starter paperwork and support onboarding activities.
- Ensure employee data is updated accurately and in line with GDPR requirements.
- Assist with reporting and recruitment metrics.
- Liaise professionally with candidates, hiring managers and external recruitment partners.
- Support the HR team with general administrative activities and projects as required.
- Contribute ideas to improve recruitment processes and candidate experience.
Must Haves
- Previous experience in an administrative, recruitment or HR support role.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Strong written communication skills with confidence producing professional documentation and letters.
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive and positive approach with a willingness to learn.
Desirable
- Experience working with HR systems, ATS platforms or recruitment software.
- Experience creating offers, contracts or onboarding documentation.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter or candidate sourcing techniques.
- Previous experience within recruitment, HR or professional services environments.
- Interest in environmental consultancy, sustainability or related sectors.
