As a Product Quality Tester, you will operate our construction robot, run QA tests from start to finish and check the quality of the finished work. You will be the QA team's eyes on the ground: your observations, photos and reports help QA decide what passes, what fails and what needs fixing before the product reaches customers.\nWhat you will do\nRun tests\nPre-run check: Before each QA run, confirm the walls and drywall are installed correctly and the test area is safe and ready.\nOperate the construction robot: Operate the robot end to end, following QA guidance.\nQA test runs: Run QA tests across the full robot workflow, following each procedure step by step.\nRecord: Note observations and measurements for every test case.\nCheck the robot's work\nInspect: After each run, check the finished work, coverage and quality as per the protocol defined by QA.\nFind rework: Identify and measure any rework that still needs to be done by humans.\nCapture: Take clear photos and videos of every defect.\nReport to QA\nLog behavior: Keep a time-stamped log of what the robot does during each test.\nWrite reports: Write test reports as per QA guidance, showing clearly what failed, where and how.\nSupport decisions: Share clear, detailed results on every test and scenario so QA can decide to pass or fail.\nFlag issues: Report any missing or damaged part, or anything that could affect product quality for the customer, to the QA engineer. Raise safety or blocking problems immediately.\nClose the loop: Log issues in the tracker, retest after fixes and confirm each issue is closed.\nMaintain robots and tools\nRobot care: Carry out user-level maintenance to keep the robots healthy and ready for testing.\nTool management: Track, store and look after tools and equipment, and report anything missing or damaged to the QA engineer.\nCompliance: Take part in compliance checks for robots and tools, and keep the records up to date.\nEvery day\nSafety first: Follow site safety rules and test area protocols at all times.\nStay organized: Keep tools, materials and the test area clean and in order.\nImprove: Suggest clearer test steps when a procedure is confusing or out of date.\nWho you are\nEducation: B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.\nExperience: 0-2 years on a construction site or in quality testing of mixtures, products or construction materials. Freshers are welcome; construction lab or project work is a plus.\nOpen to all: Non-technical candidates who are keen to learn and ready to work hard.\nComputer: Comfortable working on a computer.\nFitness: Physically fit to work on construction sites and run long, hands-on test sessions.\nSkills required\nTechnical\nJudging finished work for coverage, quality and human rework.\nReading and following test procedures and QA rules accurately.\nWriting clear, timely logs and test reports.\nExcel and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint).\nUsing AI tools like Claude, with good prompts, to draft reports and summarize results.\nSoft skills\nA sharp eye for detail and patience with repeated tests.\nHelps the QA team and follows procedures exactly, asking when something is unclear.\nGood spoken and written English is a must.
