At Origina, you’ll be part of a bold, fast-moving global business where your impact will be felt immediately.\nRole Purpose\nAct as Origina's senior technical and operational cyber-security lead and principal deputy to the Head of Information Security.\nThis is a senior practitioner role requiring the technical depth and judgement to independently manage significant security activities, lead technical incident response, provide security architecture expertise and deputise for the Head across core information and cyber-security responsibilities.\nKey Responsibilities\nSecurity Operations & Architecture\nLead day-to-day security monitoring, investigation and technical incident response.\nOperate and improve Microsoft Sentinel/SIEM, Defender XDR and associated monitoring capabilities.\nMaintain detection, alerting, threat analytics and escalation processes.\nProvide security architecture expertise across Microsoft 365, Azure, SaaS, endpoints and applications.\nLead technical implementation across Entra ID, Conditional Access, Zero Trust, privileged access, Defender, Purview and Global Secure Access.\nThreat, Vulnerability & Incident Management\nCoordinate vulnerability scanning, penetration testing and remediation.\nAssess emerging threats and Origina's exposure to significant vulnerabilities.\nLead technical investigation, containment, recovery and root-cause analysis during incidents.\nMaintain security runbooks and track corrective actions.\nDevSecOps & Application Security\nWork with Development and Product teams to embed security throughout the development lifecycle.\nConduct threat modelling and security architecture reviews.\nSupport SAST, SCA, DAST, secrets management, API security, CI/CD security, logging and vulnerability testing.\nSupport production security gates and security-exception management.\nAI Security\nImplement Origina's AI security controls and support the Head in AI governance.\nReview AI applications, agents, identities, permissions and data access.\nSupport human-in-the-loop controls, AI monitoring and shadow-AI discovery.\nAssess prompt-injection, data-leakage and excessive-permission risks.\nSupport Agent 365, Purview DSPM for AI and relevant Defender capabilities.\nEscalate higher-risk AI use cases and exceptions.\nGovernance, Risk & Assurance\nSupport ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials and ISMS activities.\nMaintain technical evidence for audits and assurance.\nSupport risk assessments, customer security reviews, contractual requirements and vendor assessments.\nProvide practical security guidance across the business.\nBusiness Continuity & Deputising\nSupport Business Impact Analysis, Disaster Recovery, continuity exercises and resilience testing.\nAct as delegated security or continuity lead when required.\nRepresent the security function in operational, architecture, development and customer discussions in the Head's absence.\nEscalate material risks, policy exceptions and significant incidents appropriately.\nExperience & Knowledge\n8 - 10 years of hands-on information and cyber-security experience. \nStrong Microsoft Entra, Defender, Purview, Azure and Sentinel/SIEM expertise.\nStrong incident-response, vulnerability-management and security-monitoring experience.\nZero Trust, identity and cloud-security expertise.\nApplication security, DevSecOps and secure-development experience.\nISO 27001/GRC and security-assurance knowledge.\nAI security and governance experience or strong transferable cloud/application-security expertise.\nAbility to operate independently and communicate effectively with technical, customer and senior stakeholders.\nRequired: At least one of the following: CISSP, CISM, CCSP, SC-100, SC-200, AZ-500, ISO 27001 lead and equivalent technical experience.\nWhat We Offer\nCompetitive compensation that rewards achievement\nHybrid, flexible working model\nFamily Health, Dental & Vision Insurance from day 1\nLife insurance & Income Protection\n23 days Annual Leave plus 2 company days with additional days earned based on your tenure\nGenerous Maternity & Paternity leave policies\n6% Pension match\n€200 annual wellness benefits\n€1,000 professional development benefit\nFlexibility of working remotely from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year\nA dedicated Volunteer Day to give back to your community and support meaningful causes\nEmployee Assistance Programme\nAn inclusive environment with regular events organised by Engagement, and Diversity Committees\nDon't meet all the requirements?
