You will develop backend services and internal tools in Node.js, while owning the production and non-production environments, CI/CD and MLOps pipelines, and will be a key member in the company development.\nYou will play a key role in a small team of top notch developers and researchers, maturing the world's most advanced IndoorGPS platform with highly advanced real-time features as well as massive amounts of data.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelopment (Node.js): Develop and maintain backend services, APIs and internal tools in Node.js / TypeScript, contributing production code directly to the product alongside the development team.\nAutomation & Tooling: Build automation, platform tooling and integrations in code (Node.js, Python) that improve developer productivity, enhance product quality and decrease time-to-release.\nProduction and System Ownership: Own the production and non-production systems, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security. Set responsible practices for the entire lifecycle of large-scale development and algorithm-centric teams.\nInfrastructure & CI/CD: Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines, MLOps systems, and infrastructure as code.\nCost and Security Optimization: Proactively identify and implement improvements to system security and efficiency, optimizing workloads for cost-effectiveness across all environments.\nMonitoring and Incident Response: Develop and utilize Oriient's monitoring and logging systems to investigate customer issues and anomalies, performing deep root cause analysis in both code and infrastructure.\nRequirements\nExperience: 5+ years of combined experience in software development and DevOps / SRE roles, managing high-scale, production-grade cloud environments.\nNode.js Development (Mandatory): 3+ years of hands-on experience developing production code in Node.js (services and APIs, not only scripts).\nCoding Skills: Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills; scripting in Python and Bash.\nCloud & Infrastructure: Deep expertise in one or more major cloud providers (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure).\nIaC: Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, such as Terraform.\nContainerization: Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies, particularly Kubernetes and Docker.\nCI/CD: Proficiency in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.\nMonitoring & Logging: Solid experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack / Loki).\nTroubleshooting: Expert ability to understand complex microservice architectures, troubleshoot production issues, and perform deep root cause analysis.\nCommunication: Excellent written and verbal English communication.\nSoft Skills: A positive approach to life and people.\nRequirement and Advantages\nPrevious experience as a backend developer before moving into DevOps.\nExperience
