Internal candidates currently aligned to an Orion office location may be given preference; however, internal candidates with varying work arrangements may be considered based on experience and business needs. Work location is subject to change based on business needs.\nIn this role, you'll get to:\nMentor network administrators.\n\nDesign, manage, and maintain the corporate network LAN, WAN, and SD-WAN systems.\n\nPlan, evaluate, and execute on-prem and AWS/Azure networking.\n\nEngage professional services as needed for planned projects and/or advanced configuration changes, upgrades, and similar work.\n\nPerform problem troubleshooting and resolution, including interactions with site contacts, carriers, vendors, and Orion leadership teams.\n\nProactively monitor Orion core networks, components, and connections to detect and resolve problems and ensure uninterrupted operation of the network.\n\nMaintain public internet connections and related security.\n\nMaintain and troubleshoot company firewalls.\n\nArchitect, build, and support the wired and wireless infrastructure.\n\nPlan, evaluate, and execute network maintenance activities.\n\nOversee installation and ongoing administration of Software Defined WAN technology.\n\nManage BGP and engage Telco support for circuit issues until resolution.\n\nPlan and oversee cabling, network cabinets, and patch panel management at all locations.\n\nParticipate in DR testing as needed.\n\nResearch all critical updates for network equipment and install as needed.\n\nReview Network Health Performance Reports and review potential problems with SolarWinds.\n\nOperate and troubleshoot company DNS/DHCP/IPAM with Infoblox.\n\nContribute to the leadership of the network team as we implement software defined networks and build for the future.\n\nPurchase necessary department equipment by creating department purchase orders.\n\nComply with afterhours change windows.\n\nManage cases for all network related requests and resolve issues while meeting customer satisfaction requirements.\n\nMonitor and respond to all alerts and participate in the 24/7 on-call rotation.\n\nBe available in a timely manner upon an alert for support.\n\nGive input on new network related projects.\n\nWe're looking for talent who:\nProficient skills with Aruba AOS-CX and AOS-S, including VSX and EVPN-VXLAN technologies.\nExperience with Aruba CX 8400/8360/8325 core and aggregation switches and CX 6400/6300/6200 access switches.\nExperience with Aruba gateways (9200/7200 series), access points, and controller-based wireless.\nExperience with Aruba Central, Aruba Fabric Composer, and NetEdit for fabric design, orchestration, and configuration management.\nExperience with AWS and Azure networking.\nExperience with Palo Alto firewalls.\nExperience with BGP, OSPF, and VRRP.\nUnderstanding of Infoblox DDI.\nExperience with F5 Local Traffic.\nAbility to work effectively both individually and within a team environment.\nAbility to work with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines and address competing priorities.\nDemonstrated ability to acquire technical skills and develop familiarity with industry or specialized products.\nCreating network documentation and diagrams.\nAssociates/Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Network Technology, or related field required.\nOne CCNA, CCNP, PCNSA, PCNSE certifications preferred\nOrion Industry Certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment.\nMinimum of 7 years of direct combined network engineering and network firewall experience preferred.\nHands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls.\nPrevious experience working with information security and corporate information security policies preferred.\nStrong understanding of routing (BGP, OSPF) and switching (VLANs, STP/MSTP).\nCurrent Aruba certification (ACSA, ACSP, ACMA, or ACMP) and Palo Alto PCNSA or PCNSE certification, preferred.\nOwns and manages relationships with stakeholders directly and works effectively with people at all levels in an organization.\n#LI-AP1\n#LI-Hybrid\nRecommended Skills:\nSalary Range:\n$108,245.00 - $169,933.00The pay listed in this posting indicates the estimated pay at the time of this posting; however, may vary depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
