The candidate has the possibility to utilize his/her own strengths with the support of the professionals.\nJob Description and Responsibilities:\nThe core responsibilities are:\nPurchase Order Management (Purchase to Pay)\nInventory Management\nSupplier Management\nCreation and Maintenance of SAP masters\nThe responsibilities of the role are:\nResponsible for ensuring timely delivery and availability of Direct Procurement (e.g., APIs, Excipients, Chemicals and Packaging Materials) as a primary focus, along with coordination and support for Indirect Procurement including laboratory and factory consumables, maintenance, IT, services, and framework orders\nAccurate demand supply analysis of the products and conversion of confirmed demand to purchase order with suppliers.\nRegular follow up with suppliers for timely delivery\nAccurate flow of information to all relevant members of the organization\nResolution of issues within given timelines\nCreating and maintaining SAP masters like material master/Info record etc as per requirement\nMIS reports creation\nThe Main responsibility of the role is to ensure availability of materials from\nexternal Suppliers/manufacturers at the right time with appropriate inventory\nmanagement as per agreed target.\n1.Overall Supplier Management Responsibility for operational task:\nSecuring service level and optimal stock level\nResponsibility for operative purchasing process flow for certain suppliers\nForecast updates\nOrders (purchase orders, re-scheduling, and stock transfers)\nDelivery follow-up with supplier\nInvoicing process\nLogistics coordination\n2.To be main point of contact for operative tasks both towards the supplier and\ninternally within Orion:\nParticipation in internal cross-functional meetings related to operative purchasing issues\nProviding timely information internally regarding product availability\n3.Supporting the Manager responsible for Supplier and category management and\ndevelopment\n4.Maintaining and updating (when necessary) SAP Masters information for purchased\nproducts\nPrimary Skills (essential):\nMinimum 3-5 years’ experience in pharmaceutical procurement, with primary responsibility for Direct Procurement (e.g., APIs, Excipients, Chemicals, and Packaging Materials) along with hands-on experience in Indirect Procurement including laboratory and factory consumables, maintenance, IT, services, and framework orders, preferably for EU / US markets.\nExperience with SAP / S/4HANA or similar ERP systems is highly desirable.\nExperience or awareness of using AI-driven tools to support procurement efficiency, reporting, or decision-making will be an added advantage.\nKnowledge of EU requirements and ICH guidelines is desired.\nExcellent English communication skills (both verbal & written) and Good Interpersonal Skills.\nTask oriented with learning attitude\nLogical and analytical ability\nAbility to work in team and flexibility to
