The Scrum Master will help the team adhere to Agile principles, remove impediments, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.\nProject Description: Large-scale, multi-region Foundational Data Transformation program migrating fragmented commercial pharma data warehouses onto a governed Databricks platform. The program consolidates enterprise data sources (sales, market access, patient services, omni-channel, and master data) into standardized, AI-ready data products across US, EU, and other global markets, and rebuilds existing analytics pipelines to new data modeling standards.\nKey Responsibilities and Duties:\n1. Facilitate Agile Processes:\nScrum Ceremonies: Organize and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.\nSprint Planning: Assist the team in defining sprint goals, planning tasks, and estimating effort for each sprint.\nBacklog Management: Work with the Product Owner to ensure the product backlog is well-groomed, prioritized, and ready for upcoming sprints.\n2. Team Support and Coaching:\nAgile Coaching: Coach team members on Agile principles and practices, helping them to understand and adopt Scrum methodologies.\nRemove Impediments: Identify and remove any impediments or obstacles that may hinder the team's progress.\nFoster Collaboration: Promote a collaborative team environment where open communication, trust, and respect are encouraged.\n3. Project Coordination:\nCross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, machine learning engineers, software developers, and other stakeholders, to ensure alignment and integration of projects.\nStakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.\n4. Continuous Improvement:\nRetrospectives: Facilitate sprint retrospectives to identify areas for improvement and implement actionable plans to enhance team performance.\nProcess Optimization: Continuously assess and improve Agile processes and practices to increase efficiency and effectiveness.\n5. Performance Tracking and Reporting:\nMetrics and KPIs: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure team performance and project progress.\nProgress Reporting: Prepare and present regular progress reports to stakeholders and senior management.\n6. Risk Management:\nRisk Identification: Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery and develop mitigation strategies.\nIssue Resolution: Proactively address and resolve any issues that arise during the project lifecycle.\nEducation:\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP) is a plus.\nSkills and Qualifications:\nExperience: Technical/data background with long track record of experience as a Scrum Master. Proven track record of successfully delivering data/analytics-focused projects.
