The position will also provide leadership and direction to more junior team members. Performance of these duties at a high level of accuracy and responsiveness is critical to the department to respond to time-sensitive requests & other key functions that ensure the lender remains in compliance with all the investor's Lument services. \nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nReview uniform commercial code (UCC) filings and obtain necessary documents.\nAnalyze UCC filings to determine priority security position and potential collateral security risks.\nEnsures initial UCC filings for all commercial loans are filed timely and accurately.\nPrepare UCC continuations and/or terminations for state and county jurisdictions for timely recording in collaboration with a third-party vendor.\nRespond to all internal and external customer inquiries in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.\nAssist junior team members with workflow to ensure deadlines are accomplished.\nReview and QC loan payoffs, for accurate calculations, document releases, and terminations, per established procedures.\nReport departmental statistics as required.\nProvide regular status updates to the manager regarding any outstanding items or deadlines.\nThis position will handle the more complex functions and will assist in training junior team members. \nCross-train in all areas of the Loan Servicing and Asset Management department to gain a full understanding of all aspects of departmental responsibilities and assist management with special projects related to department goals or as may be needed by the team.\nEnsure that proper notification, communication, and coordination occur with Lument’s legal and compliance personnel, when applicable. Ensure that all job functions are executed in compliance with all investor requirements and Lument’s policies and procedures.\nWork professionally and harmoniously with team and coworkers.\nOther projects and duties as assigned.\nWork with IT department to test and implement system updates.\nAssist in compiling data samples for department audits.\nTravel Requirements - [10 %].\n Education, Skills and Experience:\nBachelor’s degree with a concentration in Finance, Real Estate, Management or Business\n1-3 years in commercial mortgage servicing or commercial real estate is required, with exposure to FHA, USDA, Ginnie Mae, Freddie Mac, or Fannie Mae loans. An equivalent combination of education and experience which demonstrates the knowledge and skill set to perform the job functions will be considered.\nStrong interpersonal skills demonstrated by an ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients (internal & external), all investors, legal counsel, and others. Must also demonstrate an excellent customer service attitude.\nCreative and effective problem-solving skills, excellent organizational and analytical skills\nThe ability to effectively self-manage and work independently while functioning as a highly effective member of the team.\nThis position requires access to sensitive and confidential information.
