Works directly with Underwriters, Originators, clients, FHA, and vendors as necessary throughout the loan process.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nSupport FHA Multifamily Origination Screening to include, but not limited to:Being well versed in the various Excel-based screening and underwriting models\nDetermining appropriate level of due diligence required to complete a thorough loan screening\nCompleting analysis to determine loan sizing and S&U that meet FHA programmatic requirements and are compliant with the applicable loan execution\n\nAssist Underwriters by providing daily oversight of FHA multifamily loan applications\nBe the primary lead for internal deal coordination to include, but not limited to:Engagement and coordination of third-party reports\nCreation and collection of due diligence needs list\nReviewing application due diligence for completeness and accuracy\nAdministrative transaction organization\nCreation of complete and deficiency free application submissions to HUD\n\nCommunicate clearly with borrowers, third party providers, Originators, Underwriters, FHA, and others to facilitate transaction flow\nDevelop the knowledge and skills necessary to prepare FHA credit request presentations, including being well versed in Commercial Real Estate policies and procedures, FHA MAP Guide, relevant FHA documentation, and underwriting and processing guidelines\nEnsure work product adheres to Lument policies, processes, and procedures\nAttend trainings and courses in additional education as prescribed\nWork professionally and harmoniously with team and coworkers\nPosition may require travel on a minimal basis\nOther projects and duties as assigned\n Education, Skills and Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, real estate, or related field required\n2-3 years of full-time experience in real estate related financial analysis for a lending institution, brokerage firm, or investment firm preferred. Current or recent experience in FHA-insured lending prioritized.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Microsoft Excel\nDemonstration of a strong work ethic, ambition, teamwork, creativity, aptitude for accuracy and detail, and sound ethical conduct\nFlexibility and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines, and to adjust priorities in a changing environment\nExcellent organizational, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills\nDemonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and to use discretion in the performance of daily activities\nAbility to synthesize large amounts of information into clearly articulated credit and business recommendations both verbally and in writing\nInitiative and strong sense of personal motivation as well as responsibility\nAnnual base salary gross: $90,000 - $100,000 (NY only). The base salary range represents the estimated low and high end of ORIX’s salary for this position based on geography. Actual base salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role.
