And behind every great technology, there’s great organization. \n\nWe're looking for an Electric Powertrain Engineer to help design and optimize the propulsion systems behind our next generation of UAV platforms.\nIn this role, you'll be responsible for defining and optimizing the architecture of electric powertrain systems that directly impact endurance, payload capacity, efficiency, and reliability. Working alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams, you'll help transform advanced concepts into production-ready aerial systems.\nWHAT YOU’LL DO\nDesign, integrate, and validate electric powertrain systems for UAV platforms\n\nSelect and size motors, propellers, ESCs, batteries, wiring, and power distribution components\n\nDefine and optimize system performance targets related to endurance, payload capacity, efficiency, thermal behavior, and reliability\n\nDevelop and execute propulsion testing and validation activities\n\nAnalyze test results and flight data to improve system performance and reliability\n\nCollaborate with mechanical, electrical, avionics, battery, and manufacturing teams\n\nInvestigate technical issues and perform root-cause analysis\n\nCreate technical documentation and support production readiness activities\n\nWHAT WE EXPECT\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field\n\n3+ years of experience developing electric propulsion or powertrain systems for UAVs, robotics, electric vehicles, e-bikes, industrial equipment, or similar electromechanical products\n\nHands-on experience with motors, ESCs, battery systems, BMS solutions, and power distribution systems\n\nStrong understanding of efficiency, thermal behavior, battery performance, and system-level optimization\n\nExperience with testing, validation, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis\n\nStrong analytical thinking, practical engineering skills, and clear technical communication\n\nNICE TO HAVE\nExperience with UAV, drone, aerospace, or advanced robotics platforms\n\nExperience with multirotor and/or fixed-wing electric propulsion systems\n\nKnowledge of Li-ion and LiPo battery technologies\n\nFamiliarity with CAN, UART, PWM, DShot, or telemetry protocols\n\nExperience with MATLAB, Python, LabVIEW, or similar engineering tools\n\nWHY YOU’LL LOVE IT HERE\nOur office is a drone testing playground, and every day starts with an idea no one has tried before.
