And behind every great technology, there’s great organization.\nWe're looking for an Embedded Software Engineer - RF Speciality to join our RF/Skunkworks team and help develop the communication systems that power reliable long-range control of robotic platforms.\nThis is a software-focused role with strong ties to hardware development and RF electronics. You'll work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop, optimize, and integrate embedded firmware for advanced radio communication systems used in demanding real-world applications.\nIf solving complex technical challenges and building reliable communication systems for next-generation robotics excites you, we'd love to hear from you.\nWHAT YOU’LL DO\nWork closely with hardware, mechanical, and airframe teams to translate requirements into mass-produced systems\n\nDesign, develop, and optimize embedded firmware for innovative radio communication systems\n\nWrite clean, efficient, and robust C/C++ code in bare-metal or RTOS environments, primarily on STM32-based platforms\n\nCollaborate with hardware, RF, FPGA, and firmware development teams to integrate solutions into complete systems, ensuring seamless operation and real-time performance\n\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, implementation details, and performance benchmarks\n\nParticipate in design reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions to continuously improve solutions\n\nWHAT WE EXPECT\nBachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field\n\n2+ years of experience in embedded software development\n\nProficiency in C/C++ and embedded development tools\n\nFamiliarity with SDR frameworks, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and optimization techniques\n\nStrong problem-solving skills and a hands-on engineering mindset\n\nAbility and willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment\n\nNICE TO HAVE\nExperience developing embedded software for radio communication links\n\nExperience working with RF electronics\n\nInterest in or experience with FPV drones and UAV platforms\n\nWHY YOU'LL LOVE IT HERE:\nOur office is a drone testing playground, and every day starts with an idea no one has tried before.
