And behind every great technology, there’s great organization.\nWe’re looking for a Test Developer (Embedded Systems & OS) to build, maintain, and scale automated testing environments for our embedded Linux systems and proprietary hardware platforms.\nIn this role, you’ll work at the intersection of embedded software, Linux OS internals, and automated hardware validation. Collaborating closely with embedded developers and hardware engineers, you will design robust Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) setups, write C/C++ and Python test suites, and integrate automated test pipelines into our CI/CD workflows to ensure maximum system reliability.\nWHAT YOU’LL DO\nDevelop and maintain automated testing environments for embedded Linux systems across Orqa's hardware products\n\nWrite robust scripts and automated test scenarios using C/C++ and Python\n\nWork closely with Linux OS internals, custom drivers, BSPs, and build systems like Yocto and Buildroot\n\nSet up, execute, and maintain Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing rigs and validation suites\n\nIntegrate and maintain automated hardware testing within continuous integration and deployment pipelines (CI/CD hardware pipelines)\n\nCollaborate with hardware and embedded software engineering teams to identify defects early and ensure high product stability\n\nWHAT WE EXPECT\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical field\n\nProven experience in automated testing for embedded Linux environments\n\nAdvanced proficiency in C/C++ and Python programming languages\n\nSolid understanding of Linux OS architecture and internals (device drivers, BSPs, Yocto / Buildroot)\n\nHands-on experience setting up and executing Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing\n\nPractical experience integrating hardware test suites into CI/CD pipelines\n\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with full working proficiency in English\n\nWHY YOU’LL LOVE IT HERE\nOur office is a drone testing playground, and every day starts with an idea no one has tried before.
