We bring together engineers, creators, and innovators who push the boundaries of what’s possible - from cutting-edge FPV systems to advanced Remote Reality solutions and the next generation of robotics.\nAs we continue to grow, we are strengthening our internal HR and payroll operations and are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team.\nYou’ll have the opportunity to take full ownership of our in-house payroll process, combining hands-on payroll expertise with system implementation and continuous process improvement.\nWHAT YOU’LL DO\n\nParticipate in the final phase of ERP and payroll implementation, including payroll testing, validation, data checks, and process setup\n\nIndependently manage the full monthly payroll cycle for employees in Croatia\n\nCollect, prepare, validate, and process payroll inputs, including working time, shift work, overtime, absences, sick leave, bonuses, allowances, and other variable payroll elements\n\nCalculate salaries, salary compensations, taxes, social security contributions, deductions, reimbursements, and other employee payments\n\nPrepare, review, and submit JOPPD forms and other statutory payroll reports accurately and within required deadlines\n\nPrepare and manage reimbursement claims related to sick leave and other eligible salary compensations, including required supporting documentation\n\nPerform payroll controls and reconciliations, resolve discrepancies and corrections, and cooperate with Finance and Accounting on payroll-related matters\n\nMaintain accurate payroll records and documentation and respond to employee questions related to salaries, payroll calculations, deductions, and other payroll topics\n\nPrepare regular and ad hoc payroll reports, analyses, and employee cost data\n\nMonitor changes in Croatian payroll, tax, social security, and employment legislation and ensure they are correctly reflected in payroll processes\n\nSupport continuous improvement of payroll processes, controls, and ERP/payroll system usage\n\nWHAT WE EXPECT\n3+ years of relevant payroll experience in Croatia\n\nExperience independently managing the full monthly payroll cycle\n\nStrong knowledge of Croatian payroll regulations, including personal income tax, social security contributions, salary compensations, and JOPPD reporting\n\nGood understanding of Croatian employment legislation related to working time, salaries, overtime, allowances, absences, and annual leave\n\nExperience working with payroll or ERP systems\n\nStrong Excel skills, including lookups, pivot tables, and working with data exported from business systems\n\nHigh level of accuracy, attention to detail, responsibility, and confidentiality\n\nAbility to work independently, manage deadlines, and maintain accuracy during payroll processing periods\n\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills\n\nNICE TO HAVE\nExperience participating in payroll system implementation, migration, testing, or go-live\n\nExperience with payroll process insourcing or transition from an external payroll provider to an internal payroll function\n\nExperience with payroll in an organization with shift work, overtime, and variable payroll elements\n\nExperience working with larger employee populations\n\nUnderstanding of payroll accounting and payroll-related general ledger reconciliations\n\nWHY YOU’LL LOVE IT HERE\nOur office is a drone testing playground, and every day starts with an idea no one has tried before.
