And behind every great technology, there’s great organization.\nAs a Senior CAM Engineer you will be responsible for transforming complex CAD designs into highly optimized, production-ready toolpaths. You will work closely with design and manufacturing teams to ensure components are machined efficiently, accurately, and reliably.\nWHAT YOU'LL DO:\nDevelop and optimize CNC programs for 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis machining\n\nGenerate efficient, collision-free toolpaths using CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, NX CAM, HyperMill, etc.)\n\nSelect and define cutting tools, feeds and speeds, machining strategies based on material and geometry\n\nPerform simulation and verification to ensure collision avoidance, dimensional accuracy, optimized cycle time\n\nOptimize machining processes for cycle time reduction, surface finish improvement, tool life extension\n\nCollaborate closely with Machinists, CAD engineers, Manufacturing engineers to refine designs and resolve production challenges, design and improve fixturing and setup strategies for complex parts, maintain clear and structured documentation for programs and revisions\n\nWHAT WE EXPECT:\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience\n\n5+ years of professional CAM / CNC programming experience\n\nStrong experience with: 3-axis and 5-axis machining , high-precision components and tight tolerances\n\nProficiency in at least one advanced CAM platform: Mastercam, Siemens NX, Fusion 360, HyperMill, or equivalent\n\nDeep understanding of: machining dynamics (chip load, tool wear, chatter), cutting tool selection and behavior, machine kinematics (especially 5-axis)\n\nExperience working with materials such as: aluminum alloys, titanium, steels and/or composites\n\nBONUS:\nExperience with aerospace or defense manufacturing\n\nFamiliarity with GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and tolerance-driven machining\n\nExperience with post-processors and G-code optimization/customization\n\nKnowledge of high-speed machining (HSM) techniques\n\nExperience machining: thin-wall structures, complex freeform surfaces\n\nWHY YOU'LL LOVE IT HERE:\nOur office is a drone testing playground, and every day starts with an idea no one has tried before.
