And behind every great technology, there’s great organization.\nWe’re looking for a UAV Software Engineer to design, build, and optimize core software architectures for our autonomous aerial platforms.\nIn this role, you’ll work at the dynamic intersection of computer vision, mobile robotics perception, and Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) systems. Working on custom edge compute hardware like NVIDIA Jetson, you will develop high-performance C++ code, integrate open-source flight stacks (PX4/ArduPilot), and apply advanced mathematical modeling to bring ultra-low-latency real-world capabilities to our next-generation UAVs.\nWHAT YOU’LL DO\nDevelop and implement software architectures for UAV systems, perception, and GNC (Guidance, Navigation, and Control)\n\nDesign and optimize real-time computer vision (CV) and image processing algorithms using OpenCV\n\nWrite and optimize high-performance C++ and Python code tailored for custom edge compute hardware (NVIDIA Jetson, TensorRT, CUDA)\n\nIntegrate and maintain open-source flight control stacks (PX4, ArduPilot) and manage communication via ROS 2 and MAVLink protocols\n\nApply state estimation techniques (Kalman filtering), 3D spatial geometry, and optimization mechanisms for low-latency algorithms\n\nCollaborate closely with hardware, RF, and flight test teams to validate autonomous behaviors in real-world environments\n\nWHAT WE EXPECT\nMaster’s (Mag. ing.) or PhD (Dr. sc.) in Robotics, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Control Systems, or a related field\n\n3+ years of professional experience in UAV software development, mobile robotics perception, or GNC architectures\n\nStrong hands-on experience with real-time computer vision, OpenCV, and perception algorithms\n\nHigh-level proficiency in C++ and Python optimized for edge compute hardware (NVIDIA Jetson, TensorRT, CUDA)\n\nSolid experience with open-source flight control systems (PX4, ArduPilot) and robotics middleware (ROS 2, MAVLink)\n\nExceptional mathematical foundation: linear algebra, state estimation (Kalman filtering), 3D spatial geometry, and low-latency algorithm optimization\n\nFull professional proficiency in English (both written and spoken)\n\nWHY YOU’LL LOVE IT HERE\nOur office is a drone testing playground, and every day starts with an idea no one has tried before.
