You'll join the Account Payable team within Financial Services.\nAs a team, we enjoy working in a highly flexible and inclusive manner and we hire talents from a diverse variety of backgrounds, not just because it's the right thing to do, but because it makes us stronger.\nYou’ll play an important role in:\nperforming periodic vendor statement reconciliations, investigating unmatched invoices, payments, credit notes, and account discrepancies, and ensuring timely resolution\nmanaging and monitoring direct debit transactions, including validation, dispute handling, and reconciliation\nreviewing aged and overdue AP items and liaising with vendors, procurement, treasury, business units, and finance teams to resolve outstanding issues\nvalidating credit notes against supporting documentation and ensuring accurate application within the accounting records\nserving as a point of contact for AP reconciliation inquiries while ensuring compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and audit requirements\ndriving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and automation within AP processes.\nTo succeed in the role, you:\nhave a bachelor's degree in economics, accounting, finance, or a member of any professional bodies\npreferable to have some years of experience working in a global shared services centre, specifically within accounts payable\nhave strong communication and interpersonal skills in English, with the ability to handle relevant business stakeholders and vendor interactions professionally\nhave an analytical and logical approach to issues and problem-solving\nare able to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously\nare proficient with accounting software (preferably SAP) and Microsoft Excel.\nMaybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points.
