The team currently consists of 11 WT4 technicians working with different turbine technologies, and this position will expand the team to 12. The role is connected to our Norddeich base and follows a two-weeks-on/two-weeks-off offshore rotation.\nAs a team, we succeed as one by sharing knowledge, supporting technicians offshore, and putting safety at the centre of every task.\nYou’ll play an important role in:\nanalysing turbine faults and providing immediate technical support to technicians offshore\npreparing work packages for troubleshooting and corrective maintenance activities\ncarrying out complex fault-finding and unscheduled maintenance on wind turbines\ncoordinating corrective tasks, including pre-sail briefings, debriefings, and short-term work planning\ncreating and improving work instructions, troubleshooting trees, and technical documentation\nsupervising, coaching, and sharing technical knowledge with less experienced technicians.\nTo succeed in the role, you:\nhave strong troubleshooting experience with Siemens direct-drive 6 MW wind turbines or closely comparable turbine technology\nhave completed an electrical apprenticeship, recognised technical training, or equivalent experience\nbring extensive knowledge of electrical and mechanical turbine systems, fault diagnosis, SCADA, and specialist tooling\ndemonstrate strong safety awareness and can provide clear technical and operational guidance to others\ncommunicate effectively and are comfortable supervising, coaching, and transferring technical knowledge\nare able to work at height and offshore as part of a two-weeks-on/two-weeks-off rotation.\nMaybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points.
