As a team, we support one another, share knowledge openly, and work together to solve complex challenges that help accelerate the transition to renewable energy.\nYou’ll play an important role in:\nleading the preliminary design, optimization, technology selection, sizing, augmentation planning, and lifecycle modeling of battery energy storage systems \nserving as a technical resource for energy storage projects from development through commercial operation, with a focus on SCADA, automation, and energy management system integration \nensuring robust integration with grid requirements, BESS controls, SCADA systems, energy management systems, and utility interfaces \nsupporting project delivery through design reviews, site visits, construction meetings, root cause analysis, technical remediation, and compliance reviews \nleading cost estimates and supporting EPC and integrator procurement activities, including specifications, evaluations, design reviews, and technical negotiations \nworking across internal teams, contractors, and vendors to clarify technical requirements, manage risk, improve reliability, and deliver practical engineering solutions. \nTo succeed in the role, you:\nhave a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience \nbring strong electrical engineering knowledge and experience with battery energy storage system SCADA design \nunderstand inverter-based resource requirements and applicable regulatory frameworks \ncan integrate battery energy storage systems with SCADA, energy management systems, controls, communications, and grid interfaces \ncommunicate effectively, solve complex technical challenges, and build strong relationships with a broad range of stakeholders \nare willing to travel within the Americas and internationally as required to support project and operational needs. \nMaybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points.
