We’re excited to share our Shift Leader position at our extra care service, Beaumont House.\nAs a Shift Leader, you will play a key part in leading and supporting your colleagues to deliver outstanding care. As a Shift Leader, you work alongside the Team Leaders and Service Manager to support the day-to-day running of Beaumont House and will lead on advising and motivating the care team to ensure that we provide the best possible service to our customers.\nPlease note that we do not offer visa sponsorship. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and provide relevant documentation if appointed.\nKey responsibilities:\nSupport the team with shift plans and rota management.\nBe a leader in the service and empower the team members in everything they do, acting as the best practice role model.\nAct as a champion for our customers and team. You’ll help to create a happy, homely atmosphere.\nLiaise with GP’s and social workers where needed for customers.\nComplete staff competencies for medication, practice observations, random spot checks and review daily medication administration.\nSupport with ordering/collection of medication for customers.\nOur ideal Shift Leader will….\n Have previous experience working with older and vulnerable people.\nHave experience supporting end of life care within the setting.\nUnderstand the CQC fundamental standards and how these relate to the role.\nBe able to work as part of a team.\nBe able to communicate both verbally and written.\nHave high attention to detail.\nAbout Beaumont House:\nBeaumont House is located in Walton-on-the-Naze on the former Martello Caravan Park, within a small historical coastal town known for its natural beauty, birdwatching spots and fascinating heritage.\nThe service has free staff parking and regular bus services running through the area, with nearby stops that provide convenient routes into Clacton, Frinton and other nearby communities.\nFollow the link for more information about our service!
