The role involves ensuring network availability, security, and performance while troubleshooting network issues and coordinating with vendors, telecom providers, and internal teams to ensure uninterrupted banking operations.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nManage, maintain, and support the Bank's WAN, LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, branch, ATM, and departmental network infrastructure.\n\nEnsure high availability and uptime of critical banking services and connectivity operating in a 24x7 environment.\n\nMonitor network performance and proactively identify network bottlenecks, failures, and security vulnerabilities.\n\nPerform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for network incidents using network monitoring and packet analysis tools.\n\nConfigure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and related network security devices.\n\nSupport routing and switching technologies including VLANS, STP, EtherChannel, OSPF, BGP, and other enterprise networking protocols.\n\nCoordinate with telecom providers, ISPs, vendors, and third-party support teams to resolve incidents within agreed SLAs.\n\nMaintain network security standards, secure configurations, and access controls.Support ATM connectivity and resolve branch communication issues promptly.\n\nParticipate in infrastructure upgrades, branch setups, migrations, DR activities, and technology enhancement projects.\n\nMaintain accurate network documentation including network diagrams, IP schemes, configurations, and incident reports.\n\nProvide after-hours and on-call support for critical incidents when required.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\n\nBachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Telecommunication, or a related field.\n\nMinimum 2-3 years of experience in enterprise network administration and troubleshooting.\n\nProfessional networking certifications such as CCNA or CCNP are an added advantage.\n\nStrong experience in Cisco networking environments, WAN/LAN, VPNs, MPLS, routing and switching technologies.\n\nHands-on experience with firewalls, network monitoring, and troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark is added advantage.\n\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.\n\nExperience in banking or financial sector environments will be an added advantage.
