The ideal candidate will lead ML system design and architecture, mentor the ML team, oversee model development and deployment, and maintain high engineering standards.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nLead ML System Design & Architecture: Design scalable, production-ready ML systems aligned with business goals and technical standards.\n\nMentor & Guide the ML Team: Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentorship to ML engineers and data scientists.\n\nOversee Model Development & Deployment: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of ML models, from data preprocessing and training to evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.\n\nMaintain High Engineering Standards: Ensure best practices in coding, testing, documentation, version control, and reproducibility of ML experiments and pipelines.\n\nQualifications:\n\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.\n\n6+ years of work experience in a hands-on ML-related role.\n\nPrevious roles: Tech Lead - ML, Senior Tech Lead - ML, or similar technical lead role.\n\nExperience in the finance domain is an added advantage.\n\nProject experience in large-scale applications, legacy system support, ML model monitoring and governance, and IT modernization within an enterprise environment.\n\nTechnical Skills:\n\nProgramming: Python\n\nMLOps: MLflow, Kubeflow, SageMaker, Airflow\n\nDevOps/Infra: Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform\n\nML/AI Frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn\n\nCloud Platforms: AWS, GCP, Azure, internal DC platform\n\nGovernance: Model cards, XAI tools, differential privacy\n\nData Engineering: Spark, Kafka, SQL, BigQuery, Snowflake\n\nAI & DS Technical Architect Skills\n\nSoft Skills & Organizational Fit:\n\nAbility to fit into the Combank organization & IT culture.\n\nCuriosity and ability to learn new areas quickly.\n\nExcellent attention to detail and analytical skills.\n\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.\n\nLeadership & Project Management:\n\nLeadership & Mentorship: Ability to guide a team, provide mentorship, and foster collaboration.\n\nProject Management Skills: Experience in senior engineering roles, managing timelines, estimating tasks, and stakeholder communication.\n\nStakeholder Communication: Act as a bridge between technical teams and business/product stakeholders, translating requirements into technical solutions.\n\nORYSYS Limited is an equal opportunity employer, and all recruitment decisions are based solely on suitability, regardless of race, gender, marital status, disability, age, religious belief, or sexual orientation.
