In parallel, the Group Data Office is responsible for maintaining a complex legacy data landscape that continues to run the bank today.\nThis PO will play a key part in helping OSB design and deliver a data strategy that will drive value through innovation and creation of data products, as well as supporting the delivery of Transformation.\nWhat you will be doing?\nAs a Data Product Owner you’ll be focussing on the modernisation of the bank, working as a trusted advisor for the business, including data engineering, architecture and future data science teams.\nYour role is working closely with business and technology teams, to ensure data products are designed and delivered to drive measurable value, while maintaining appropriate controls, quality and transparency.\nThis role is responsible for defining and deriving value-based delivery informed by the demands raised by the product owners or business SME's.\nYour responsibilities will include…\nDefine and drive the vision, strategy and roadmap for data products and platforms, aligned to business objectives and customer outcomes\nOwn the end-to-end lifecycle of data products, from discovery and prioritisation through to delivery and continuous optimisation\nPartner with business stakeholders, architects and data teams to translate requirements into scalable data solutions and measurable value\nEstablish product goals, OKRs, KPIs and success metrics, using data-driven insights to inform decision-making and prioritisation\nLead the development of business cases and engage senior stakeholders to secure alignment, investment and delivery support\nEmbed strong data governance, management and quality practices, working with data owners and stewards to ensure clear accountability\nApply Agile and Lean product management methodologies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver strategic programme objectives\nOversee a diverse portfolio of data products and services, including BI and analytics, data APIs, data platforms, delivery risks, machine learning solutions, data models and master data management\nWhat's in it for you?\nWe offer a base salary depending on experience ranging from £75,000 to £95,000 per annum and a competitive benefits package including:\nAnnual discretionary bonus opportunity\n30 days annual leave\nChoose to contribute 3% or 5% pension, with employer contributions of 6% or 8% respectively\nEnhanced family-focused benefits\nHybrid-working \nPlease use this link to see the fantastic benefits available at OSB: OSB Careers\nAbout us\nAt OSB Group, we understand how much our people bring to our organisation, which is why we try our best to give back too!
