In partnership with Engineering teams, suppliers, and business stakeholders, Infrastructure Operations provides the resilient and secure technology foundation required to support organisational agility, innovation, and growth.\nWhat you will be doing?\nThis is a fantastic opportunity for an Infrastructure Operations Engineer to join a dynamic and highly collaborative team, supporting a diverse range of Azure, hybrid cloud and on-premises technologies across the organisation.\nWorking closely with engineers, developers, project managers and incident managers, you'll take ownership of support tickets, solve complex technical challenges, and help maintain and enhance critical infrastructure services including compute, storage, networking and SQL platforms.\nThe role offers broad exposure to private cloud datacentres, physical infrastructure, server platforms and end-of-life remediation activities, making every day different and providing significant opportunities to develop your technical expertise.\nIf you're looking for a varied role where you can continuously learn, build experience across a wide technology stack and make a real impact, this position provides an excellent launch pad for a long and rewarding career in Technology.\nYour responsibilities will include:\nMaintaining scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud and on premises infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and internal datacentres, applying best practices in availability, resilience, and observability.\nEnsuring all environments production, development, and test are patched, maintained, and managed to required standards across both on premises and cloud platforms at the operating system and application levels.\nSupporting private cloud datacentres, physical infrastructure, server platforms, and end of life remediation activities to ensure continuity and modernisation of services.\nMaintaining stability, security, and performance across private cloud environments while supporting the transition, migration, or decommissioning of legacy workloads.\nProviding operational support for Microsoft infrastructure (on premises and Azure), managing incidents and service requests through ITIL aligned ITSM processes\nWhat's in it for you?\nA competitive salary dependent on location and experience of between £36,000-£42,000 and a competitive benefits package including:\nAnnual discretionary bonus opportunity of up to 17.5% of salary\n30 days annual leave\nChoose to contribute 3% or 5% pension, with employer contributions of 6% or 8% respectively\nEnhanced family-focused benefits\nHybrid-working of 3 days in the office and 2 at home\n\nPlease use this link to see the fantastic benefits available at OSB: OSB Careers\nAbout us\nAt OSB Group, we understand how much our people bring to our organisation, which is why we try our best to give back too!
