These teams are comprised of a staff of 390+ plus professionals that provide designs for all phases of a wide range of projects. Osborn has specialists in civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and life safety, technology engineering, transportation, and commissioning. Osborn’s strength lies with its people.\nOur civil engineering practice includes design projects in diverse markets including site development, redevelopment, public utilities, water resources, sports facilities, broadcast infrastructure, master planning and pavement management. This position will work closely with the managers, directors, and engineering staff to ensure that our client’s needs and expectations are exceeded. Main responsibilities include project management client management, project design, permitting and plan review submittals, and plan preparation. Growth in design and leadership ability, dependability, and organizational skills will lead to future advancement.\nPosition Responsibilities:\nLead and manage site development design projects on time, in scope, and on budget.\nManage professional service contracts.\nPrepare contract proposals and project budgets.\nMonitor project health and compile project status reports.\nManage project invoicing and accounts receivable.\nPrepare and manage subconsultant agreements.\nDevelop and foster client relationships.\nMaintain positive relationships with external consultants and internal engineering managers and directors.\nMaintain a strong understanding of regional regulatory agencies and permit requirements.\nDirect and coordinate land development and environmental resource permitting.\nManage design projects with multi-discipline engineering staff and manage the civil engineering delivery for multi-disciplined engineering projects within Osborn.\nImplement effective Company’s quality assurance and quality control programs.\nFind solutions to complex engineering and personnel situations.\n Job Requirements/Qualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering \nPE License in Ohio.\n10+ years of relevant civil and site development design experience.\nCivil engineering calculation experience (stormwater, potable water hydraulics, sewer and storm hydraulics, hydrology)\nAnalysis software experience (ICPR, BMP Trains, HEC-RAS, WaterCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D).\nAbility to coordinate work on projects within a multi-disciplinary team with minimal oversight.\nAbility to lead and manage several projects concurrently. \nAbility to foster culture.\nAbility to promote growth.\nStrong written and oral communication skills.\nRelated degree from an ABET accredited university or college\nOsborn is looking for a candidate who has the following characteristics:\nReliable\nTeam Player \nSelf - Starter\nPositive Attitude\nStrong Work Ethic\nCritical Thinker\nDetail Oriented\nInnovative\nGood Communicator\nAll job offers will be contingent on passing a background check.
