Join the firm to continue the legacy that he has built in the Structural Field.\nOsborn Engineering is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with 10-20 years of experiences for our Tampa, Orlando, and/or St. Pete, FL office location who will report to the Manager of Structural Engineering. The ideal candidate would have extensive structural engineering experience in a consulting engineering environment working with private and public sector clients.\nPosition Responsibilities\nSupervise staff or self-perform the following:Design of new building structures as well as structural alterations, renovations, and additions to existing buildings\nPreparation of structural integrity and assessment reports\nDesign and detailing of structure including calculations and computer modeling, for steel, concrete, masonry, and timber structures.\nManage and Coordinate projects with clients and other disciplines.\nCollaborate with Senior engineers to assemble structural work products.\nPrepare design deliverables for SD, DD, CD level documents.\nCoordinate with Architectural, Electrical and Mechanical drawings and attend coordination meetings.\nPerform site reviews and construction administration services during the construction phase.\n\nReview designs prepared by others as part of Osborn’s QA/QC process.\nAttend meetings with clients, authorities having jurisdiction, and other professionals as projects require.\nWork planning and manage the design process to the available hours in the work plan.\nProject and Client management.\nPrepare proposals and administer project contracts, including Add Service Agreements.\nJob Requirements/Qualifications\n10 - 20 years of Structural Design Experience in Consulting Engineering\nPE license preferred or ability to obtain licensure \nSE License preferred.\nWorking knowledge of structural analysis and design software such as REVIT, RISA 3D, RISA Floor, ADAPT.\nDesigning post-tension structures is a requirement\nProficient Knowledge of local and national building codes and design practices.\nProficient Knowledge of standard construction practices and the ability to work with contractors to address construction issues.\nExperience in designing Healthcare, Sports, Commercial, Public Sector, Industrial, Education, and/or Institutional projects.\nBachelor’s degree and/or Master’s in Structural or Civil engineering.\nOsborn is looking for a candidate who has the following characteristics:\nReliable\nTeam Player\nSelf - Starter\nPositive Attitude\nStrong Work Ethic\nCritical Thinker\nDetail Oriented\nInnovative\nGood Communicator\nWe can offer you a challenging career with one of the Nation’s most respected and diverse Engineering Firms.
