This position will report to the Manager of Technology and will work closely with directors, managers and engineering staff to ensure client's needs and expectations are met and exceeded in a timely fashion.\nOsborn is a fully integrated multi-disciplined design firm that uses a specialized team approach to engineering projects. These teams are comprised of a staff of more than 390 professionals that provide designs for all phases of a wide range of projects. Osborn has specialists in civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and life safety, technology engineering, transportation and commissioning. Osborn’s strength lies with its people.\nPosition Responsibilities\nAble to lead and mentor Designer level staff on their responsibilities.\n\nReview content of drawings and specs for Designers in order to meet the scope of work.\n\nWrite new specification sections and develop new details as required for project needs.\n\nDirect Designer’s quality on RFI answers and submitted review.\n\nTravel to project sites to review progress of work; successfully solve problems within time and budget.\n\nDevelop and monitor work plans in conjunction with PM.\n\nUnderstand and apply concepts of distance limitations, interference, bandwidth needs, etc.\n\nReview code related items with Designers and ensure compliance.\n\nManage work plans and deliverables on multiple projects within budgeted hours.\n\nWrite studies and reports for Technology Design Systems on projects.\n\nExecute complex TD designs with minimal input, minimally defined design requirements, and difficult coordination.\n\nMarket Sector - Expert in TD requirements for applications within multiple market sectors.\n\nWrite industry white papers.\n\nAble to manage projects.\n\nJob Requirements/Qualifications\nEngineering Degree, RCDD. (Recommended)\n\nPE.
