The role carries a strong R&D focus, collaborating with OCS and\nITS leads to identify, evaluate and implement new AI tools, data integration\nsolutions (including Boomi and MCPs), and to explore how platforms such as PowerApps\nand CoPilot can be leveraged within our existing technology stack.\nWe currently operate a hybrid working model, enabling us to\nbenefit from both home and office working.\nThe Team\nOsborne Clarke's Solutions team plays a crucial role in\nhelping clients explore exactly how they would like legal and related services\nto be delivered to maximise the value to their businesses. The team is client\nled, developing new products and services to deliver existing services better,\nand to deliver entirely new services to meet growing client needs. The team\noperates out of the UK and Europe, with teams of ex-lawyers, and technologists\nacross locations.\nOur Solutions programme has two key goals. First, to make\nsure we're responding to client demands for greater value, efficiency and\ncertainty from their lawyers, whilst maintaining the highest quality. Secondly,\nin helping us bring innovative ideas to the delivery of our, or our clients',\ncurrent and new, services. A significant and growing part of this innovation\ninvolves researching, piloting and integrating AI technologies to transform how\nwe deliver legal services across the firm.\nWe want to ensure our lawyers have the best products and\nresources needed to provide the best possible service to our clients.\nKey Role Responsibilities:\nAI-Driven Innovation & R&D: Spearhead initiatives to\nexplore, pilot and integrate existing and new AI technologies within the firm,\nworking in close collaboration with ITS, Change, and Risk & Compliance\nteams. Beyond AI, the role will focus on exploring data integration\nopportunities using platforms such as Boomi, investigating the potential of\nModel Context Protocols (MCPs) and orchestration layers, and developing a\nbroader awareness of how tools such as PowerApps and CoPilot can be leveraged\ninto our existing platforms including HighQ, Legora and ContractExpress. Engage\nwith stakeholders across these functions to identify and understand business\nneeds and use cases for AI, data integrations, orchestration layers and\nplatform enhancements in legal service delivery. Research, evaluate and pilot\nnew tools and initiatives to pursue better ways of working, enhance service\ndelivery and improve operational efficiency. This involves staying abreast of\nthe latest advancements in AI and adjacent technologies, conducting thorough\nresearch and proof-of-concept exercises, and fostering a culture of innovation\nand experimentation. Working alongside OCS and ITS leads, you will help guide\nthe firm through the transformative potential of these technologies, ensuring\nthat solutions are not only cutting-edge but also practical, scalable and\nimpactful.\nPromotion of OC Solutions: Regular engagement and\ninteraction with, and demonstrations to, OC colleagues regarding the solutions\navailable through OC Solutions; supporting the production of case studies and\nother marketing material and speaking at relevant events and conferences.\nRole Outline:\nAI, Data & Platform Innovation: Working with OCS and ITSleads, research, evaluate and pilot new AI tools, data integration solutions\n(including Boomi and MCPs), orchestration layers, and platform capabilities\n(including PowerApps and CoPilot) to explore how these technologies can enhance\nthe delivery of legal services and integrate with existing tools such as HighQ,\nLegora and ContractExpress.
