And our unique approachable culture is not an added extra, it's fundamental to our success.\nWhat you'll do\nYou will provide a comprehensive level of support to the global business for Osborne Clarke's physical, virtual and cloud infrastructure, connectivity including wired and wireless networks, and key services such as e-mail, telephony and SaaS, PaaS & IaaS platforms.\nKey duties will also include:\nProvide professional support to Osborne Clarke so that our clients receive consistently excellent services. Understand and adopt the principles of acting as a professional service provider.\nSupport and follow Incident, Request, Change and Problem Management procedures along-side other IT Services teams, aligned with the ITIL framework.\nSupporting, operating and managing the delivery of the operational platforms, hardware, operating systems and core technologies, including provision, documentation, maintenance etc.\nAssist with specific escalations from the out-of-hours support team, where IT operations expertise is required, following an on-call rota in the team.\nMaintaining and developing the integrity and security of all components comprising various client's network and operational platforms, including all data.\nWorking in collaboration with suppliers and other IT services teams to ensure the smooth de-livery of such products to the firm.\nContribute to testing processes and support infrastructure for internally or externally developed and applications/implementations.\nAwareness of advances in technology, new software applications and new hardware in order to serve as an advisor to other employees.\nYou will be\nWe are looking for self-motivated individual who will enjoy working in a demanding Operations team, and has a keen interest in infrastructure and technology, with a drive to discover and learn more, working in a demanding Operations team with a high level of personal responsibility. We'll expect you to have good knowledge of cloud and virtualisation technologies, networking principles and Windows server architecture and services. Alongside this, a good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and the Azure platform will also be needed. Further technical requirements can be found below:\nRequired Skills:\nExperience of a Major Cloud Platform (e.g. Azure, AWS or GCP).\nExperience of managing and using SaaS solutions.\nScripting and Automation tools (e.g. Powershell, Terraform, Ansible, etc).\nCloud networking, Private cloud network interconnect (ExpressRoute, DirectConnect).\nExperience Implementing & Managing Internet Services, WAN/LAN/VPN Data Comms.\nWorking knowledge of networking standards, hardware, and protocols.\nNetwork monitoring and management systems (e.g. Solarwinds HCO & NPM).\nUnified Communications telephony partners (e.g. Microsoft Teams).\nServer and PC operating systems (e.g. Windows 11, Windows Server).\nVirtualisation technologies (e.g. VMware or Hyper-V).\nAn awareness of or willingness to learn:\nIT Service Management (ITIL)\nSwitch & WiFi Deployment.
