As a member of the IT Training team, you will play a key role in helping to drive the adoption of technology across the business, contributing to the firm's efficiency and the delivery of exceptional legal and support services.\nThis is a permanent position, based out of our London office, with some home working too.\nThe Role\nIn this role you will be part of a team responsible for the delivery of IT induction and follow-up training for our UK and international new joiners. You will also provide training support for a wide variety of IT applications and hardware and help to design, develop and deliver digital training solutions to support IT business change projects and pilots.\nKey Responsibilities Include:\nTraining Delivery & Support\nDelivery of IT induction training for our UK and international new joiners.You will play a key role in welcoming our new joiners to the firm and ensuring that they have the necessary IT knowledge and skills to perform efficiently and effectively in their role\nDelivery of group training courses and one to one coaching sessions on a wide range of IT applications and hardware.The aim of all training interventions is to enhance our people's use of technology in a measurable fashion and in line with the company's IT proficiency framework.\nHelp develop and deliver IT training solutions for business change projects\nAssist the IT Training Manager in identifying training needs on an individual and group basis\nPrepare fully prior to all training or coaching sessions, addressing all requirements in advance\nWork with the IT training co-ordinator to ensure each training initiative is run efficiently and effectively\nWork with the ITS ServiceDesk to answer queries on the use of MS Office and other legal IT applications\nAnswer ad hoc training queries sent directly to the IT Training team\nContent Development & Maintenance\nAssist with the creation of digital learning materials in the form of online videos, e-learning courses, intranet pages and knowledge articles\nAssist with the development and maintenance of courses and events on the company's Learning Management System\nWork alongside other members of the IT Training team to maintain existing courses and training materials in line with technical upgrades\nContinuous Improvement, Evaluation & Governance\nCarry out effective evaluation and validation of each training initiative and individual session for the purpose of management reports\nStay updated in advances in technology and training and integrate these into the ongoing creation and delivery of training materials\nIdentify opportunities for process improvements within the IT Training function. Implement changes to enhance efficiency and improve service quality\nBe aware of the risks associated with elevated access permissions and Information Security and ensure that your actions are undertaken in line with the Information Security Policy and current best practice\nWe are looking for\nA qualified and experienced IT Trainer, passionate about delivering quality training, with a background in professional services. You will also have experience in designing and developing digital learning solutions and providing IT services within an accredited service environment such as ITIL or similar.\nKey knowledge and skills:\nConfident in delivering training online as well as face-to-face\nExcellent IT skills, including advanced use of Microsoft Word, with sound knowledge of the other Microsoft Office applications\nKnowledge of legal IT systems; including document management systems, client relationship management tools and time recording software \nExperience of the IT Training project life cycle, including training needs analysis, and instructional design\nSkilled in the design and delivery of digital learning solutions\nTechnical authoring experience\nAbility to work autonomously when required and to schedule your own resource appropriately\nCapable of multitasking, working under pressure and working to tight deadlines\nCreative thinker who is able to, and enjoys solving problems for users\nAbility and willingness to learn new technologies and applications\nCommitted to delivering an exceptional standard of service to users\nExcellent written and spoken communication skills\nA strong team player, committed to assisting colleagues wherever necessary to maximise the effectiveness of the entire IT department\nSalary and benefits\nWe offer competitive salaries and generous benefits.We value the health and wellbeing of our people and our wide range of initiatives and benefits support this.\nOur recruitment process\nPlease note that although we include closing dates for our roles as a guide, we review and progress applications on a rolling basis.
