Through collaboration with stakeholders in the organization and gaining an understanding of Oscar's platform capabilities, this role ensures information is loaded accurately and efficiently.\nYou will report into the Senior Operations Manager, Benefit Coinfiguration.\nWork Location: This position is fully remote and open to candidates residing in the U.S., excluding Alaska; Delaware; Hawaii; Louisiana; Montana; North Dakota; Oklahoma; West Virginia; Wyoming; and U.S. Territories. Daily work is completed from your home office, with occasional travel required for team meetings and company events. \nPay Transparency: The base pay for this role in the states of California, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, and Washington is: $62,100 - $81,506.25 per year. The base pay for this role in all other locations is: $55,890 - $73,335.63 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program and annual performance bonuses.\nResponsibilities:\nPerform detailed oriented work with a high level of accuracy and adherence to all QA/QC protocols\n\nStrong understanding of designs, builds, and configuration workflows and utilize this knowledge to develop insights into opportunities for workflow improvements.\n\nUnderstand aggregated configuration data to identify updates required and to measure the impact of any changes on internal operations and existing configuration\n\nLoad configuration data into the core system accurately and in a timely manner\n\nLeverage internal tools and technical processes, in particular database querying and benefit or reimbursement configuration concepts.\n\nBuild SQL queries and translate technical analyses into easily digestible communications to a nontechnical audience\n\nIdentify and report on any data/data infrastructure gaps, deficiencies, or irregularities\n\nCompliance with all applicable laws and regulations\n\nOther duties as assigned\n\nRequirements:\n1+ years of working knowledge of health plan benefit concepts (e.g., deductibles and other forms of cost sharing, etc.).\n\n1+ years of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and/or comparable programs within the Google Docs Editors suite (e.g., Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides).\n\n1+ years of experience manipulating and analyzing large data sets using excel or a similar database language to solve business problems\n\nBonus points:\nA bachelor's degree or 4 years commensurate experience\n\nWorking knowledge of medical coding concepts (e.g., CPT, HCPCs and ICD-10 coding)\n\nProficiency in SQL\n\nThis is an authentic Oscar Health job opportunity.\n\nAt Oscar, being an Equal Opportunity Employer means more than upholding discrimination-free hiring practices.
