software.\nReporting and Documenting Test Results.\nVerification and Test of the test sequences in office and on-site.\nUp to 50% travel\nPreparing and participating in plant vehicle launches.\nWorking on-site resolving issues on any aspect of a project with minimal or no assistance from other resources will be required.\nCreating and providing Customer documentation and training.\nPreparing user requirement documentation.\nGood communication with internal and external stakeholders.\nWork with Customer systems, e.g., creating and managing change requests for upcoming software deployments.\nManage tasks using JIRA.\nInstallation of Runtime to QA and Productions Servers, supporting Customers migrating to newer operating systems and SQL database servers.\nSet-up and configuration of plant specific networks (Tester/Server) for validation testing.\nSetup, test and validate server plant management web-based tools.\nRun SQL script (Stored procedures and Schema upgrades) queries against the SQL Databases.\nCreate / update validation test documentation.\nParticipate in QA and Production release reviews.\n Working Knowledge of Windows XP, Windows 7 32/64bit, Windows 10 32/64bit.\nWorking Knowledge of VMWARE and Virtual Box applications tools (Used to create new test environment platforms).\nUnderstanding of Windows background services.\nBasic knowledge and understanding of Windows networking (TCP/IP and DHCP).\nKnowledge and understanding of vehicle diagnostics (at least one automotive diagnostic protocol such as KWP2000, ISO14230, ISO15765, J1939, ISO14229 and ISO13400).\nKnowledge of Wireshark and CAN Logs (DoIP and CAN).\nKnowledge and understanding of electrical drawings and schematics.\nAbility to fault find and debug issues raised.\nAbility to be able to setup/manage and plan own workload.\nDesirable:\nAn in-depth understanding of OEM requirements and diagnostics of ECU. configurations (example: ECU Software Download, Configuration).\nKnowledge of ODX and OTX.\nMicrosoft SQL Server knowledge.\nXML file knowledge.\nWorking knowledge of JIRA.\nKnowledge of using the Bosch vehicle model VSI simulator tool.\nUse of VCATS applications (In-house monitor tools) and open source WireShark applications.\nEducation:\nBachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical or Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering or other relevant discipline.\nMinimum 2-year experience within the automotive industry and technology.\nKey Stakeholders: Project and Product Management Team, Software Engineering.\nTravel required: Travel to customer sites within the UK and abroad is
